The apartment is lovely and had everything we needed for our 5 day stay in Florence. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment and it was great to have a bedroom separate from the living room. It was close to the Duomo and there were plenty of places to eat close by. Staff were friendly and very helpful during our stay. A. supermarket and laundromat are close by.

It is about a 15 minute walk from the train station but narrow footpaths and crowds of tourists made the walk a lot more difficult than it should have been.

Wow, what a great apartment in super location! Add to this Valentina and her marvellous team and we don't believe you could find better accommodation in all of Florence, definitely a ***** plus. Thank you Valentina for making our stay so memorable. The details, The apartment was really good, it had space, all the equipment we needed, and was very comfortable & stylishly furnished. Valentina was very welcoming and helpful, as were the other staff members, their only objective was for the guests to have a great time. Always on hand to give tips or advice on places to visit, restaurants and happy to make bookings on our behalf. We arrived when reception was closed, so had some concerns this may have been an issue but it couldn't have been easier. We spoke to Valentina on the phone and she electronically unlocked the doors for us, and we were in our apartment within 2 minutes of arriving at the front door. The location is great for all the sites while being away from noisy cars so quiet and peaceful. We would thoroughly recommend anyone visiting Florence to stay at Residence Hilda, They would not be disappointed.

Nothing the property was execelent

This is a really lovely apartment, beautifully furnished and spacious. It is very central, a short walk from the Duomo, and about a 10 minute walk from the Santa Maria Novella train station. It is situated in a lovely street with good restaurants and a small supermarket. The lady in Reception was really helpful and made us feel very welcome. The main bed was very comfortable although the pillows were way too thin. The sofa bed was not comfortable, even for our daughter who can normally sleep on anything!

The apartment was just great. Spacious, fully renovated, had everything you need: comfortable large bed, desk, closet, kitchen with all amenities, large bathroom. The location was perfect, in the city center, 5 minutes walk from the Duomo. The staff was so nice and helpful. Ideal place for a couple.

Two things that could be improved: 1. The wifi was not very fast, and some sites were not working through it; for example the site axs.com 2. The safe was very small. Suited for passports and money, but a laptop cannot be places in there.

Amazing property the space and comfort of apartment with amenities of a hotel. Very centrally located near the duomo and very central can walk to most places . They have daily maid cleaning service linen change . They even clean the dishes and make u feel completely on vacation. The reception people are very nice and extremely mannered. They are available and prompt to reply on Whatsapp24 by7. They booked a taxi to airport on our behalf and said it will take around 22 euros . When we messaged them that the taxi guy charged us 44 they took action and got the taxi company to refused us. They did their best so that clients don’t feel cheated . Coming to Florence just go ahead and book residence Hilda .. u won’t be disappointed 👍

Everything was excellent. Just a suggestion and electric kettle would be nice.

RH is lovely little apartment. Very comfortable and spacious room for the 3 of us. Clean sheets and soft towels. They are very friendly , receptive and helpful . It’s in a great location. A little shop right by the corner “Osteria dell L’Ok” is great. Everything from Beef steak, jewellery shops etc is just outside your door. Above all it’s a stone throw away from the Duomo. Perfect !

The only thing I would suggest is that the pillows are a bit hard . A fan would be good too as we couldn’t adjust the Air condition temperature. So at night it gets a bit hot unless you allow the windows to remain open which can get noisy.

What distinguishes Hilda from similar accommodations in its price range is the staff, namely the receptionist and the women who clean the suites. We came upon them enjoying espresso together in the lobby as we left for breakfast one morning. It conveyed camaraderie, esprit de corps, and a benevolent working environment, which enhanced my experience as a guest. My husband and I felt well cared for by the receptionist/manager. Her warmth was genuine, and though we have traveled to Florence more than twenty times over forty years, we trusted her restaurant recommendations. The hotel was spotless, from the entryway to every square inch of our spacious and beautifully appointed suite. I appreciated that our bags were taken to our room when it became available and before we returned. It was extremely quiet, and the temperature could be adjusted easily. There was a refrigerator, a freezer containing ice, an ironing board, and an iron. The kitchen was stocked with anything one would need to cook.

Sorry, we loved everything about it.

We stayed at Florence Residence Hilda and had a wonderful experience. The location is superb — easy to reach everywhere on foot, which made exploring the city a breeze. The hosts are great, friendly, and very helpful with tips and recommendations. The rooms are exceptionally clean, spacious, and comfortable. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely choose Residence Hilda again on our next visit to Florence. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a perfect base in the city!

I loved everything about Residence Hilda. The location could not be improved -- right in the heart of Florence and within walking distance of everything. My suite was superb -- light, comfortable and very well equipped. The staff were beyond helpful. Everyone was cheerful, very interested in making my visit perfect, helpful in every way. I will definitely be back!

To be expected, since the location is in the heart of the city, there was some street noise at night.

Great location few minutes walking to the cathedral and the attractions, the room is spacious and very clean and comfortable, it is like a studio with a small kitchen. Checking in was easy although I arrived on Sunday and the staff were off but they were very responsive through WhatsApp when needed. There are different options for parking including the option provided by hotel but I managed to park in a public parking behind the hotel less than 2 minutes walking.

Nothing major, only the two AC were an old model, bit loud and not possible to control the temp or fan speed from the room, I switched them off when sleeping and it did't bother us because the room kept cool.
