Haflingerhof offered a superb experience for our family. The Staff was welcoming and very helpful. We enjoyed the included breakfast that offered many options to include scrambled eggs cooked to order. We ate at the restaurant for two evening meals and were very pleased with the selections offered, the service provided by the wait staff and the taste of the food.

We were pleased with all aspects of our stay at Haflingerhof. Our only complaint would be the loud vent fan in the toilet room. This was only a minor inconvenience when weighed against the other superb qualities offered at this property.

The hotel was really pretty-very traditional and full of character. The staff were even dressed in traditional outfits and everyone was so friendly and helpful. There were some lovely personal touches, like a welcome note on the bed and a named place/table setting on our table. We were also given a little gift of homemade marmalade when we left. We ate at the restaurant and enjoyed a really good meal and some great beers. The room was quite large with a comfy bed (we should have asked for different pillows) and a good, clean separate shower room and bathroom. We had a double aspect room and it was such a shame the weather was awful as it looked like it was a pretty area.

As we are very light sleepers, the church bell ringing outside, every quarter of an hour, did keep us awake. Our room (Pauline) was also above the kitchen-which we weren't advised of and this again was noisy. This shouldn't put people off-but it's something to bear in mind.

Family run business, it was lovely to stay there. They were all very helpful and friendly. Beautiful location and they also have stables where you can do riding lessons.

Breakfast was excellent. Good spread of meats and cheeses, along with cereals and breads. Offered scrambled and boiled eggs as well. Though their scrambled eggs were a bit salty. The grounds were immaculate and very picturesque. All the staff went above and beyond to exceed expectations.

The only issue I had, was that the mattresses were a little uncomfortable due to their age, however I would expect a hotel of this caliber to correct it in the very near future.

We had a short stay and did not have time to enjoy the property and amenities. Overall it was a fantastic stay and would highly recommend.

We had trouble with code on Tuesday arrival and had trouble finding someone to check us out. Staff was very nice and spoke English. Staff works are and it shows in the facility.
