The location is the best in Georgetown with a view that stays with you for life. Rooms were spacious and had a very modern up market feel. Small kitchenette with running filtered water makes it very convenient. A thoughtful touch I would say.

There was some confusion regarding the booking since I had booked for three people in the room, including breakfast but during check-in, the hotel asked me to pay for the extra bed while the booking.com had done the booking inclusive of everything. Finally the hotel offered me 50 pc discount on the amount they asked for and since I didn't want to waste my time in these technicalities I chose to silently pay and enjoy my stay.

The rooms are spacious and superb, with magnificent view - day and night. TQ for hospitality provided by the staff afiq, irfan, fatin, nicholas, the housekeeping, receiving crew at the entrance.

Normally people will feel happy, welcomed upon entering a hotel with its signature fresh smell and nice piped music, that are soothing to ears. Perhaps the hotel should assess the location its timur cafe which is directly opened and exposed to its lobby.. The clanking sound of plates, dishes, cutleries, loud noises and strong food smell from the unclosed timur cafe above the lobby, could turn off people who are looking for tranquility. Some staff could learn from those staff mentioned, on how to smile and show some warmth. Maybe we are not rich.😇

everything was great except for the check in process. took me 25 minutes to check in? wasn't pleased with the staff's attitude. she also did not tell me basic information like the location of the lift and the location of breakfast. just handed me the key after 25 minutes of wait and told me: here's ur key, ur room number is xxxx. like. that's all? how about "sorry for keeping you waiting"? honestly why does a simple check in need to take up 25 minutes? what is your staff typing on the computer when i've provided all my information during booking?

They could offer some drinking water bottles in the room. And to consider better selections of coffee/instant coffee in the room too.

Amazing building, very comfortable, just a really fantastic experience from check in to check out.

Only thing to critique was the breakfast, food was not the freshest nor tastiest.

The hotel is generally nice, we liked atmosphere there. Location is just what we needed- not far from the George Town and Gurney Mall and at the same time quite place. The view from window is great, reception and dining room staff was always very helpful, kind and attentive. Branded toiletries also is very nice. The best thing in the room was big bed! We sleep with a child so it was great indeed. Breakfast was not bad , but nothing special. We also loved an Ascott bear presented to our child on arrival and when it was lost :( the staff gave us a new one, thank you for this.

It was comic to find that the 5 stars hotel with branded toiletries cannot put proper capsule coffee machine. Instant coffee is a shame … honestly. We were also upset by the quality of room cleaning. Basically they just made the bed and changed the towels. If you have got a shoes in middle of your room they would never even try to put them together, or clean the wine glasses… The part of the room with a sink was completely useless, i would rather use this space for sofa or smth more useful. Cocktails in the pool glass bar were terrible and expensive. As a final, we like the hotel, but yet many things to be improved to correspond price/quality.

The room is huge and clean. Everything is new and in working order. The staffs in Timor cafe is awesome,very friendly and attentive. Basically, every staff we encountered were friendly and professional. Many eateries next door at the Gurney Walk. Even though we were given a low floor, one level up and facing the pool, the sound proofing was good enough to keep the noise out. Aircon is working very well and very cold.

Shower hot water tend to run out/low after 10pm. No lift to access basement car park. Housekeeping good but inconsistent.

The hotel's location was lovely. It was about a 15-20-minute walk to Gurney Plaza and the other shopping plaza. This property's USP includes some sea-facing suites, which have the same sea view from the bathroom, so imagine yourself sipping on a cold one in the tub with that breathtaking view. Along the walk to Gurney Plaza are several restaurants and coffee shops. The hotel location is equidistant from Georgetown and Batu Feringgi beach. I don't think we paid more than 15 ringgit for a Grab ride, including to the hill for the cable car ride. The staff are very polite and accommodating. The hotel has a daily free coach to Batu Feringgi beach and the Bay area/Georgetown.

Great location with amazing view from the bedroom, which is the only reason why I chose this property to splurge and celebrate my birthday...quietly alone. The suites very clean, daily cleaning done in the afternoon as requested. I love..love the filtered water tap facility at the kitchenette....very2 convenient. Parking was easy and ample space available. Near to all the places that I wanted to visit during my stay, which i just used Grab. Staff were courteous, caring and helpful. Had some problem with the stereo speaker in my room (not working), and weighing machine no battery. The technical team came immediately late nite to rectify 👍👍👍.

Wanted to try in house breakfast at the restaurant on my last day. Didn't like the venue, too dark made me a bit claustrophobic.😬😬. It was very noisy in such an enclosed space..couldnt take though i understand it was school holiday. And the buffet was like being attacked by some hungry wolves...not sure if they didn't have enough staff to clean and refill...or that was the standard. So I left and decided to eat elsewhere.

the property is clean and well maintained. the breakfast had so many options and lots cooked to order the view was great from the room on 30th floor spacious room and well presented with hairdryer, kitchen area (but not for cooking), kettle, scales,
