Bedspace was great and lockers underneath the bed are really big so you can fit all your luggage in. Bathroom and showers were great and laundry is free too which was a nice bonus. Also has a drinking water tap which was handy

The hostel is about a 15-20 minute walk from the main bit of town, not a major issue as a grab car taxi is very cheap and bus stops right outside. There is a big fridge but almost no cooking facilities apart from a microwave, at least a kettle would have been nice, but for most people one of Penangs main draws is the street food (which is quite cheap anyways) so I don't suppose many people would want to cook. There is a couch in the bunk area but other than that there's nowhere to chill out really other than your bed or the dining table.. for us this was fine as there weren't many people staying but if it was busy I think this might be frustrating.

Spacious, clean, bigger beds than usual, all the facilities you would want or need! The huge changing room and free ice-cream in the freezer during my stay were great touches. Mandy is a true gem, so professional and happy to help answer any queries. I arrived here after a negative experience at another hostel and it was so great I’ve booked another couple of days for next week! Yes the hostel is about a 20 minute walk from the centre, but in my opinion totally worth it (and when/if you don’t want to walk, you can always take a grab). There is also a great food market called Old Green House very close by where you can have a cheap meal and be surrounded by locals.

I was really impressed by this hostel, it definitely exceeded my expectations! Everything is modern, stylish and well thought through. The bunks are very comfortable, with a fold out table, plug sockets and lighting in each one. You also have key-card lockers under the bunk, which felt very secure. There were plenty of toilets, showers, mirrors and hairdryers, all of which were of good quality. There is a communal kitchenette too with a microwave, toaster and kettle. Also you can use the washing machine and dryer for free, which is fantastic! The place felt very safe, with a key card needed to access both the building and the dorm. The manager was lovely and very welcoming, and everything was cleaned and cared for to a high standard. It was also very quiet at night and I slept very well. I would certainly recommend this place.

Highly recommended for solo travelers!!! This hostel is very clean, comfortable, very complete facilities starting from a refrigerator, washing machine, microwave, kitchen utensils, towels, soap and shampoo. This hostel has self-checkin system, where later we are given access cards for individual doors and lockers. Payment on the spot can only be through e-wallet. Around the hostel there are also many restaurants, cafes, mini markets, and bus stops which are just beside the hostel building.

There is no standing full length mirror, but overall is good!!!

I think it was the cleanest dorm I ever stayed in. Had the best sleep. Those boxes are surprisingly cosy. Showers and toilets very clean. The helper lady, she introduced herself as CP, was the friendliest person ever. I had cramps and she made me a drink with ginger and red dates to help. And gave me tips in general and also she and the owner helped get a ride at 5something in the morning. The location is close to the botanical garden. The bus stop is in front of the dorm. From there it's easy to reach the national park in about an hour's time, and a lot of beaches in less.

Not much for socialising. But I myself didn't go there to socialize.

Everything! Tidy, clean, spacious, very good communication, very friendly and helpful staff! Huge individual locker secured by key card access under the bed to fit all personal belongings.

Some people were a little inconsiderate when coming in late, but that is not the property's fault. As stated in other reviews, it is a little to walk into town and the bus station, and the bus in front of the hostel unfortunately only goes the other direction (one-way streets), but this is just something minor and known before. Grab is not really reliable in Penang, but again, not the hostel's fault, but something good to know especially when trying to go places in time, so try to plan ahead.

This hostel is very clean and comfortable. The property manager, CP, is so awesome!! She really cares about creating a nice environment for all the guests and she loves to learn and share stories. They have free laundry and dryer use. They even have a clothes steamer! I met some wonderful girls here. The kitchenette was very convenient. I haven’t felt so comfortable in a hostel in a while.

Slightly far from the main city centre but it’s cheap Grab ride (5-10 RM depending on the time of day)

The dorm is very clean and confortable. You have curtains for privacy and the shower are very clean. You can use hairdryer and there are also a washing machine and dryer you can use for free. Really recommend this place if you are looking for a nice and confortable place People were very friendly, felt nice to be in a female dorm.

Location is not central but you can reach it in 20/25 min walking so i believe it is fine.

The manager was super friendly and caring and brought me medicine when I was feeling sick. You feel very welcomed at this hostel. The beds are arranged in a way to give each person more than enough space for sleeping and also a curtain for privacly.

Location was 20-30 minutes walking from the centre. I knew that when booking so sometimes I walked, used bus or Grab. It was no big deal really.

The place was spotless and very new! The mattress and pillow were very comfortable. Very nice cleaning staff (the lady I spoke with gave me tips about the city and was very friendly). The kitchen/common area has a microwave, fridge and drinking water.

Could be a bit noisy at times (electronic lockers and door sounds, no "quiet time" for the washing machine/dryer for example), and the blinds are not blackout ones, so quite bright but give a nice privacy.
