There are plenty of hotels to choose from in Hollywood but only the dolphin has staff that truly are committed to your comfort and experience. They great you by name and treat you like family.

Susan, the office staff was very friendly and helpful. We checked-in about an hour early and 1 of the 2 rooms was ready immediately while the other one was available a short time after. The hotel complex and rooms are a bit old but very clean and steps to Hollybeach broadwalk. You have to use a regular key instead of a key card to access the room, which was fine. We only stayed 1 night, so it was perfect and would consider staying there again.

Excellent location, about 1 short block off the Broadwalk. Large room with comfortable bed, kitchenette, table service for 2, table and chairs. The staff was excellent, helpful and friendly.

No electrical outlets in the bathroom or walk in closet area by the bathroom. If you want to dry your hair in front of a mirror or in the bathroom, bring an extension cord. There are several outlets in the kitchen. Although there is an oven, there are no pans you can use in the oven. There is a skillet and a large pasta pot (with plastic handles). Buy a disposable aluminum pan or tinfoil if you want to reheat any leftovers in the oven.

Love the location, just excellent !! Easy access to the boardwalk. Room very spacious and bed comfortable. Has all the amenities you need for an enjoyable stay near the beach.

Could use a painting of the hotel sign itself so that it’s easier to find. Could do a few updates or repairs to spruce it up … for example like rust on the one side of the refrigerator (exterior) could be cleaned up with a spray of fresh paint.

I stay here quite a bit and I'm never disappointed! Clean cute, and you couldn't ask for a better location on the beach. The place is small so you're treated like a person and not just a room number. Love staying here where they remember you and that always makes people feel good. Customer service is always outstanding. If there's any negative comments it has to be the guest because this location is a 10/10. No it's not a fancy hotel with elevators, valet and resort fees. Parking is $10 a day verse $25/35 or more a day at a large hotel then the obligation of having to tip every time you need your vehicle. There's a $75 deposit and you're refunded after your check out. This was my first time booking this location through Booking.com as I always book directly through Dolphin Inn and after this trip I will continue to book directly through dolphin to avoid extra fees, my husband wanted to try Booking.com. It was smooth, however, again it was the fees.

Our room was adequate and would have been great for a long-term stay. The other room was much smaller, but served its purpose for the one-night stay. The beds were very comfortable. The location is ideal, being within walking distance of the boardwalk and beach!

It was very dark when we arrived, and there was little lighting or signage to determine where our rooms were. The manager was a little scattered and not very responsive.

Location close to the beach was very good, welcome from Maria was very nice and helpful (even provided us with some available beach chairs), and the bed was a large king with comfortable pillows. Overall, despite age of property it was clean and came well equipped for a short stay. Good value!

There wasn’t anything significant we didn’t like about the property or service. Everyone was helpful and property was clean and safe.

I have always wanted to stay in one of these iconic beach motels. Everyone should experience a beach holiday this way, before big corporations gobble up the land to build more high rises. Stress-free. Reserved parking, a block from the beach, avoid crowds. Kitchenette makes it convenient and lowers costs. Walking distance to shops, bars, restaurants.

Obviously a beach view would’ve been nice, but that would mean higher cost.

We had the double queen with sleeper sofa room. From the outside, we weren't sure it would match online pictures, but once inside, it did, was spotlessly clean, perfect amount of space for our family of 3. Comfortable beds and pillows. Walkable to many restaurants and bars. Nice outdoor spaces semi-protected from wind and rain.

Back door did not function properly, once we managed to get it open, we had to close it from outside, slamming it hard. Also, the sleeper sofa (not an actual sleeper with a mattress, but more like a wide siscor jack sofa) and table should be switched. With no room darkening shades, the couch was directly in the early morning sun, so no sleeping in.

The location was perfect. It’s just steps to the Boardwalk and Beach. The room was very comfortable. The person who runs it is so nice. She was very accommodating to us needing to check in early. They even had beach chairs and beach towels for our stay. The room was clean. We felt it was a very good value for our stay.
