Nice and handy to town. The young guy who checked me in, was very helpful with information regarding the local points of interest. Much appreciated! Loved the mainly under cover parking, and the picnic table there, as well. Great place to have breakfast, while letting hubby sleep in. 😉

This is my own fault, not Buller Court's, (should have checked better before booking) - no kitchenette in the unit I booked, though it was an option in others. That was the only niggle, and totally avoidable if I'd been more on to it.

Very comfortable room with everything needed. We had expected twins, so when we found it was actually a 2 bedroom unit, we were delighted. An easy walk to town, restaurants & port (the walking track at the port is recommended).

The only thing that I disliked was the bowls that were more like a deep plate. I like muesli in the morning and these weren't ideal - the kind of thing that can't make up their mind whether they are a bowl or a plate. Small stuff I know, and it was the only thing the got my attention. I'd stay again without hesitation.

Our basic studio was well appointed and extremely well equipped. They even provided a large umbrella. We arrived tired after a drive in heavy rain and were so grateful to be allowed to checkin over an hour early. The welcome shortbread is AWARD WINNING! Being able to back your car into shelter and unpack was brilliant. We didn’t do any washing but if you do they ask you to make a donation to the SPCA. We really felt the special thing that is ’ coast ‘ hospitality here. Thanks again.

Lots of information given at check in from a super helpful guy. Great idea that you can ask for a different type of pillow to help you sleep, never seen that before. Great room with most things you need for basic catering. A great location to base for this area. The shortbread biscuits they bake rival anything made in Scotland, they were delicious. Would definitely stay here again.

Could do with a smaller sharp knife to help food prep.

Friendly welcome on arrival and a very comfortable bed. The room and kitchen was well equipped and was clean and well maintained. They even provided ground coffee and a cafetiere, so you could make proper fresh coffee. They also had Hot Chocolate and a selection of teas available plus fresh milk. We'd highly recommend this Motel.

Not the Motels fault. We were woken at 4am by a siren, which turned out to be the local fire alarm that calls out the retained fire fighters. It would have been worth this being mentioned in the Motel information pack, just for peace of mind.

The Wife & I had a quite modern 2 Bedroom apartment which had a BIG BATHROOM with a Spa/Bath/Shower set up. Whilst we didn't use the Spa, the Shower was First Class with terrific hot water & pressure. I'd even go as far as saying "the best shower on the West Coast of NZ" & that's important when you consider how cold it can get on the West Coast. A well set up Kitchen enables you to easily prepare your meals. Our preference was to buy pre-made, ready to heat meals from the nearby Coles Supermarket & just Micro-wave them to the desired temperature. If you've got some USA Style Reverse Park experience, that'll stand you in good stead if you draw a Unit where a Right Hand-Side reverse park is needed. But I will say this regardless of the style of Reverse Parking needed, we have never experienced parking so close to your apartment front door, it was a case of just open the rear of the SUV & place the luggage inside the front door. A lovely apartment to spend a holiday in.

Our first night I tried the Main Bedroom TV but found it turned off at the wall behind the TV itself, a wee bit strange I thought. However once I turned it on all was good. That was until I turned it off with the remote at bedtime, the TV itself must not have wanted to sleep, because it stayed on with a low glow & a makers logo bouncing around the screen. It was then I realized why it was turned off at the wall, a minor problem to remedy but I am a retired Electrician.

Debby the host was extremely friendly and helpful as this was our first time to visit the area. The units were clean and tidy. We loved the concept of large covered parking outside your unit. Would be great for unpacking or packing the car in the rain but luckily for us we had beautiful sunshine for our stay in Westport.

The accommodation was excellent. I was travelling with my sister and we both had our own room giving us our own space along with a lounge and kitchen which gave us some shared space. The best of both world's

I was concerned as our room was very close to the main road. I need not have worried. We both slept well and never heard a thing

Everything was fine except some instructions for tv. and more thought for the disabled people

After requesting a disabled unit it was sadly lacking in the bathroom. There were no facilities for the disabled person to sit in the shower and no instructions for the TV for non tech savvy people.

Reception greeted us in a friendly manner. They provided milk and shortbread, the cookies were very yummy. The gentleman in reception was more than happy to advise on some places to visit. The accommodation itself was clean and well equipped. Very comfortable.

The shower head was a bit tricky to adjust. The smaller double and single bed were too soft for our liking.
