- Self service laundry was a shock for a four star hotel. But worked in the end using the BigPay app. - Breakfast had fewer options than you'd normally expect for an international hotel. - Gym doesn't have AC - Check-in staff disappointed with their attitude and aura - Cafe seemed to have irregular hours and menu availability, which disappointed

I keep coming back to the STEG because of the staff, the quality of the place. It's like a refuge when travelling. On all levels cleanliness, value for money, location, comfort and more gets a 10!

The stay was very peaceful and nice I loved the view out there , The people there were friendly to us

The sofa was not clean and my children didn't like it they felt uncomfortable, and there is no proper carpark place for the guest to stay I find it weird when they ask us to pay , and the food was not an organized example, the butter and the jam was in the jar they provide like a butter sachet for hygiene purposes and will look more presentable....

The breakfast was good but designed perhaps for an Asian (Chinese) clientele. Therefore things would be different to a European expectation. The decor and furnishings were 'funky' and more in keeping with a four star establishment.

There was no laundry so one has to walk down the street and use a public one. In the room there was no directory of information (such as emergency phone numbers, restaurants nearby, hotel facilities and times etc.) There was no spare toilet roll, just what was on the roller - which might be half used.

The hotel is very clean with great services from the staff. It is definitely a best choice for business trip hotel accommodation with a great WIFI internet connection offer. We can easily find few restaurants nearby within walking distance with great choices of food variety.

Even it is not that far from the LRT / Train Station access but to walk for almost 5-10min is a bit a disadvantages for this hotel ( During my stay the LRT is having some maintenance which impacted the train route thus we need to do lots more walking ) . Anyhow, the taxi and grab services is very excellent in the area so it is NOT a big concern for us.

Property was clean, near to public transport, close to lots of good local eateries, sustainable practices, yoga classes available, nice pool, great coffee at the cafe on the ground floor and overall design!

I adored the property more than I didnt like it- if anything some of the lights and aircon were not switched on on level 2, perhaps as it is newly opened? Housekeeping could also be more consistent in their sustainable practices, e.g. not giving new towels if towels were hung on rack

This was my second stay at the Steg Hotel, and I'll be back again. Like all good places, the staff are some of the nicest and most welcoming people I've met in my travels. From security, to reception, the staff at the Transit Cafe, to housekeeping. The hotel and room has everything needed. The bed is very comfortable, the room, spacious, and very clean. The price is very reasonable, and the location is excellent. From the steg, there is the rapid transit, and though the Petrona towers are a 25 or so minutes walk, I enjoy the architecture of the buildings along the way. Thank you to all at the hotel for making the Steg a wonderful stay.

December 2022 was the first time i stayed at the STEG Hotel, and it is one of my favourite hotels in all of SouthEast Asia. Coming here is returning to a place I love. The rooms are beautiful, sqeeky clean, and the beds nice and comfy. The best thing about the STEG is the people who work here, from reception, to housekeeping, the security guard, and the fellas at the Transit Cafe. It is well worth the money, and close to everything in city center. In leaving I know that I'll be back again.

Our family live in the same area, so the location was excellent.

The selection of food in the Transit Restaurant could include some light, and local dishes, for those who only want a light meal, or morning snack! However, on the occasions that we ate in the restaurant, the quality of food and the service was excellent.
