Also with bolt and bikes/tuktuks nearby. You always have a plethora of options to commute.

Overpowering smell of Lemongrass to ward off mosquitoes i guess but too strong. The pool and Gym are in the adjacent building behind. So you need to walk all the way there. It is also shared with the residents of that building so it is busier than usual. Not a deal breaker but not a premium experience. The renovations going on on the floor we were on was not great either. Too noisy and really dampened the experience.

Right from the beginning when we arrived the airport at about 3am, we were picked by a very helpful driver organized by Aura. On arrival at the suites, the staff was very pleasant and helpful. Our 2-bedroom apartment was perfect for the family. Cozy rooms, great air-conditioning. The hall and kitchen were very clean and spacious. We loved breakfast at Aura suites, always ate to our fill. The staff at the breakfast room were always pleasant and eager to help. The location was only 7 minutes away from my meetings and so was easy to get in and out. With its proximity to the mall, supplies were easy to get. Overall it was a great stay. To me, my favorite part was the staff. They were generally soft-spoken but very welcoming and helpful. I forget some of the names but remember Michael and Zawadi who went out of their way to make us comfortable. The best of the staff was the Manager, Raj, who kept engaged from when we made the booking till we left. I have a feeling that the excellent staff attitude is instilled from the management. Keep it up Aura.

The pool and gym are a bit far away from the rooms but the pool is very nice and worth the walk. This is not much of a complaint as we were happy to have the facility.

Got upgraded to 2 bed apartment since 1 bed were very popular and got sold out. Fantastic choice for more space and ambience. Well laid out. Great to have what seems like a hotel but with an apartment facility to cook and clean where needed. Powerful showers. Great use of washing machine and drying rail on the balcony. Good to note there is a restaurant on ground floor and a gym. Swimming pool is still being built which would be a great addition. Staff were exceptional! The front desk manager, Happy, Trichia, Joselyne, Sandra, and Sharon. It was nice to meet the owner plus Zoey too.

Aura Suites blew my expectations out of the water! My kids LOVED the individual bedrooms! The staff was always attentive and of greatest service level. The managers helped me fix booking issues and we went off to a great stay. Did I mention the rooms were BIG and we had more common area space than we knew what to do with? Location was great - if you are market type of shopper - the biggest market is right across the Morogoro Road. I will go back to AURA suites whenever I am in Dar!

The area is secure and safe. I like night walks - but in this area - maybe not too far if you are touristy!

Wow what a luxurious place, the staff here makes you feel like home . They go above and beyond to ensure that your needs are actually being accommodated. They understand that traveling is not easy most important with kids . The owner and leadership team ensures that you are being accommodated well . They are very respectful, kind , and polite. Most important very child friendly environment . Mall is right next to the hotel with everything you need . Thank you so much , since my daughter is autistic they are very very much caring and always considerate towards her needs . A disability friendly environment. They actually go beyond to make sure your well taken care . Thank you I can’t imagine to have stayed anywhere else . ❤️❤️❤️❤️

The level of cleanliness and service surpasses that of many hotels in various countries we have visited. We have always carefully selected hotels and serviced apartments during our previous vacations in different cities, and from our experience, it became clear that Aura Suites is one of the best accommodations we have stayed in. The staff and employees at the hotel exhibit the utmost elegance in their interactions. Believe me, you will feel like an important person in this place. I hope to visit Tanzania again and stay at Aura.

It is a business property which is great located and offers rooms like in a flat which makes you feel home being away from home. What is great about this concept is, that you have a flat but you are able to get breakfast upstairs! I really like this concept! Thank you, Team!! And by the way there is a roof terrasse with a restaurant!

There is always something but really it is not necessary but in case you want to know what to improve: maybe to provide a kitchen towel, some flowers on the dinning table. One more towel for the small bathroom to try the hands after toilet.

The hotel staff do not pay much attention to guest privacy. For example, I was surprised to find two housekeeping staff inside my room while I was asleep — they woke me up claiming it was time to clean the room. I asked them to leave and come back later, but one of them asked me, “When?”, which I found quite irritating because I didn’t know myself. The next day, I stepped out of the bathroom to change my clothes, only to be surprised by one of the staff right in front of me, saying she was there to replace the towels. Other than that, the hotel is beautiful.

I was pleasantly surprised at how great my stay was at Aura Suites. I booked this hotel at the last minute because my previous hotel made me feel uncomfortable. I was able to book the morning of, at a great prices for the 1-bedroom suite I stayed in. The location was great given that I wanted to be closer to the ferry terminal due to my intentions to visit Zanzibar during my stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the restaurant on the 16th floor had great food options, and the laundry service was clutch.

Honestly, there was nothing I did not like about the property. It was perfect for what I needed during my short stay.

The location is ideal, with a large supermarket conveniently located right underneath the suites. Bajaj rides are readily available just outside, making it easy to get around the city. The amenities are fantastic—there’s a rooftop pool and a gym, which were perfect for unwinding and staying active during my stay. Housekeeping was thorough and made sure everything was spotless. I highly recommend Aura Suites to anyone visiting Dar es Salaam. It's a perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and excellent service.
