Very welcoming atmosphere. The room was spotlessly clean and spacious. The breakfast was excellent. Very fresh fruit salad, yogurt, fresh orange or apple juice, cereals and delicious full Scottish. I totally forgot to take the photo of the breakfast as I was excited to just eat. We had it with 2 two poached eggs which was the best eggs we’ve ever had.

Couldn’t find the car park from the road. But it was right next to the farm house.

Literally everything, from the wonderful location surrounded by fields and birds, to the superb accommodation, brand new, beautifully designed . Then a superb breakfast. Also only few minutes drive to the Lockerbie centre . They could have charged twice as much and would still have been worth it. And very nice host too. One of the very best places /value for money that I have ever stayed in anywhere in the world I have travelled.

Comfortable taste by excellent hosts in a superbly well developed space. Caring use of period furniture, with imaginative detailing. Really complements the views.

Nothing, this is perfect. In fact it made the rest of my trip’s accommodation feel very mediocre by comparison.

The Location was perfect. Beautiful views. Very peaceful. Although you would need a car to access it.

The only point I would change would be a little more scope for breakfast times. Breakfast was from 7am till 8.30am This was on a weekend. Neither of us were hungry at 8.30. Great breakfast though, despite it being earlier than we would have liked.

An exceptional place to stay! A beautiful and very comfortable room with a super comfortable bed. Tea and coffee making facilities with biscuits too which is always welcome. What a lovely welcoming host too. The cooked breakfast was probably the best of the trip. Highly recommended. A five minute drive from town where there are a few places to eat.

The room was spotless and looked recently refurbished. Decor very tasteful and relaxing. I liked having a comfortable armchair. The views were beautiful. Christine was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good with lots of choice including fresh fruit, always a treat. Good position not far from the motorway.

Nothing really - it would have been nice to walk to a pub after driving all day - but the one recommended was good.

The location is very peaceful with lovely scenery. The accommodation was spacious and spotlessly clean. Host very friendly and helpful. A wide selection of tasty food. Really enjoyed my stay before my journey home.

Perfectly cooked breakfast, we were asked what we preferred...and accommodated. Delightful hospitality, being in someone's home as a guest can be tricky but Christine and Ian are genuine and welcoming. Also had a very refreshing sleep..not something that happens for me very often. Beautiful location in an often unexplored part of the country. I would love to return for a few more days.

Beautiful house full of character, ideal location very close to Lockerbie yet in the green and calm countryside, very welcoming and helpful people, amazing breakfast, motorbike safely parked in the barn :)

I arrived quite late Saturday night and left quite early Sunday morning, but the welcome and service I received was outstanding. Room excellent, breakfast huge and tasty. Thoroughly recommend this house and hope to stay there again.
