When we booked no twin bed room was available so we took 2 singles, one of which was a smoking room - neither of us smoke. Spacious rooms though. Good location, not far from the castle and the information centre and trams, but I’m not sure if I’ve interpreted the many “ladies lounge” signs in the area correctly. Being an eco hotel it didn’t have all the bells and whistles we’ve grown accustomed to attached to the toilet in Japan, but I applaud the ethos. Much like home, a cold seat in the middle of the night.

its an old hotel but almost everything has been upgraded, except the decor is still sort of '80s. but I like a retro vibe. they didn't hook up the bidet toilets, i'm ok with that , too, there was a sign notifying customers at the front desk that the rooms have a basic toilet , not the usual "does everything" Japanese toilet. There is an elevator, which made me happy as I need, but a dozen stairs still have to be climbed. Every floor had a vending machine for drinks, with the reception area also having beer in that vending machine. Plus zillions of vending machines out front, too. One microwave available for each whole floor, next to the vending machine. I'm ok with that, too, zillions of restaurants all around the hotel , and it keeps the food stink out of the rooms. Its in the BAR district so super loud from about 10 pm to 4 am, but only if you crack open your window, which isn't necessary as the rooms have excellent A/c. The reception area also had free cookies, candies, and bouillon packets for guests ( to make soup with the hot water boiler that is in each room ) so that was a nice touch. Short walk to the tram.

Reeeally friendly staff. The room was clean and had everything described. A little vintage touch to the room, the furniture was very interesting, probably from the 60s/70s. The location is good, walking distance to the main train station in Toyama. The hotel is located right in the entertainment district, so there's a lot of movement at night time and lots of characters having fun! I thought that was super interesting to watch and didn't it mind at all. Surprisingly, I didn't hear much noise during the night. The room was warm and sound proof. I had a good experience overall, I do recommend.

easy access to the main road..I came late at night but the vibrate is alive not dark so it's safe for solo traveller especially female to walk.the hotel is same building as the bar etc.the staff is really nice & the hotel is safe for female solo traveller.

it building is a old & the interior is old..I can see burned carpet even though I requested no smoking room.the toilet is ok but not for big & tall traveller.no bidet at the toilet.

This hotel hit all the boxes with it being cheap, clean, and in a decent location. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the train station, and is in walking distance to all the main areas in the city ie: the glass museum and the Toyama castle park. The staff were friendly, and there were many amenities available to use. Great value for money and I would definitely stay again if I'm ever in Toyama

The room is nice and clean. It is very comfortable.

There is no heater in the room, luckily it is not that cold. The location seems to be in red light district, we didn't know until we arrive.

Clean and quiet. Nice staff. Room of a decent size with your own bathroom so definitely good value. Fridge in the room, microwave in the hallway. 10-15 min from the train station, close to many buses and also close to Toyama castle.

Amazing price and within a 2 minute walking distance to Toyama castle. They have free candy and drinks at the reception hall.

It’s located in a sketchy area with very few food options nearby apart from bars and clubs.

Good location Room is comfortable and silent Price is relatively lower than other hotels

Big room but only one chair for two persons. Better to add a stool/chair.
