We loved the area and location of Petani Resort. The facility is family-run and Yiannis and Margarita were both warm, helpful and very professional. Very good breakfast to start the day, very clean and comfortable rooms and beds. All in all, a very relaxing holiday. The view is breathtaking. Huge thanks to our hosts!!!

We totally loved the island. The only point to keep in mind is driving. Kefalonia is large, roads are winding (but really beautiful), and it takes time to go to beaches, villages, sight-seeings and tavernas. As a driver, one needs to be careful and tireless. But the result overcompensates the effort!!! Amazing island, experience and people.

We stayed 5 days and we were more than satisfied. Super friendly staff, nice reception with good English and the pictures on the platforms correspond to the facts. Very quiet, extremely clean - it couldn't be better (we were still at the pool after we finaly left the room and could see that the cleaning lady cleaned our room for over 1 hour - and we weren't too messy ;-)) We recommend a Rental car - then this is the perfect destination!

I cannot fault the property.. only 9/10 rooms which meant the pool area was quite most the time! At most 3 other rooms were at the pool the same time as us! Owner & all the staff are so friendly nothing was too much problem for them. If you’re considering this hotel just book it. It’s probably my favourite hotel I’ve stayed at for a summer holiday. Sunsets are incredible from your door step.

Literally the only negative is it’s fairly remote. There is a restaurant 2 minutes away other than that it’s 10-15 min drive. But don’t let this put you all.

Very friendly staff, beautiful view, lovely pool area, nice breakfast. Close to petani beach which is beautiful - you will need a car to access it though.

No good restaurants nearby. You will need to drive to Lixouri (15 mins) to get a good dinner

Petani Resort is an amazing spot for a quiet beach getaway at a great price. The resort is small, so even at full capacity, it always felt quiet and low-key. We had wonderful sweeping views from our spacious, ground-floor balcony, and from the lovely poolside. The pool is large, modern and pristine with spacious surrounds and plenty of comfortable loungers, and the rest of the facilities, which were generally modern, well-maintained and spotless too. The staff were consistently friendly, attentive, and helpful. Petani is on the quieter side of the island (about an hour drive from the airport), which is great if you're looking to avoid the crowds, but there's several gorgeous beaches nearby, including Petani itself, which is beautiful and has a couple of good tavernas serving good coffee and food. Despite being on the quiet side of the island, there's 4-5 tavernas within a few minutes' drive of the resort (including one just a couple of hundred metres away). Petani is rare in that it has good cooking facilities and fridges in the rooms, so we ended up eating in a lot. There's also a cafe / deli serving good espresso coffee and local cheeses / olives etc. a few minutes' drive down the hill. Highly recommended all round.

We were a family of 3 (2 adults and a 12 years old teenage) and had the triple room. The room was clean and spacious. The bed are large and comfy even if the mattresses were a bit too soft for our tastes. The amenities were just perfect. We liked a lot it was quiet and a serene atmosphere. The pool was great and we enjoyed it a lot. The staff was very pleasant, Iani gave us a lot of information. The breakfast was very good.

We enjoyed staying at Petani Resort. The staff was very nice and the room was very clean. We liked that it was very quite and peacful and the view is amazing!

It wasn't something to mention. It would be helpful to have protection at windows for insects, but other than that, we didn't miss anything.

Absolutely amazing place not just in Kafalonia, but compared to other destinations in Greece. Owners are super nice, the whole resort is just a paradise.

Almost a new building. Wonderful view, nice pool. The apartment and the whole outer area were very clean, cleaned everyday. Large comfortable bed, silent air-con. It is on the remote part of the island, needs some more driving, but the beaches nearby were really nice

Kitchen equipment could be more. It would be nice, if pool is open longer (till 21 or 22), as most guest are out during the day

The staff around the hotel was fantastic and super helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
