All was excellent

Tried to book another reservation online and cell was dying so called Kanata website and was quoted the same rate as Trivago and Booking. However when I went to provide credit card I was told by Carlos that it is in USD. I could not accept another 40% in rate when the rate was already the highest in the area so we booked down the road. As a CFO, I find this extremely strange and hope management looks into it if this is not the directive. Unfortunately you have lost a customer that stays 2 to 4 x a month. Not a good biz practice. Thought someone should know what’s going on. Ian Cordner

Nothing much to say.

House keeping to keep it gentle when knocking the door, I was once in deep sleep and had to jump out of bed due to persistent knock which wasn't safe for me. Also staff need to orientate customers how to use equipment in room eg. Coffee maker etc in order not to damage stuff by customers. I had to ask before I was introduced to the dining area and how to use the water fountain etc. I thank all the staff at the front desk. See you again in future.

I always enjoy staying at Kanata in Fort Saskatchewan. The staff are so friendly and helpful, they have the best included hot breakfast buffet I have had at a hotel, especially at this price. Rooms are clean, well appointed and comfortable mattresses. They are also very welcoming to dogs. They are nice fitness room, good vending machines and two elevators so no waiting. It is also a very quiet area even though it"s super close to shopping malls, grocery store, two Starbucks, many restaurant options and the hospital. Definitely a great place to stay.

The jacuzzi rooms are lovely, spacious with a living room, kitchen area and bedroom. Coffee provided in the rooms. Very well maintained Staff is so friendly and very accommodating.

The breakfast was included but it had room for improvement, the coffee was as though they forgot to put grounds in the pot and ran water into it, and the food could use some attention, but there was toast which is always a safe bet The property is is sandwiched between busier roads, and every third person in fort Saskatchewan has some form of outrageously loud diesel that you will hear from your room, definitely not the fault of the hotel just a note if you’re a light sleeper.

Honestly, this is one of the few hotels I have stayed where the bathroom floor was clean - there was no build up of dirt in the corners. It just makes everything feel so much cleaner. A pet peeve of mine. The room was comfortable. And, when I had issues with the key card the desk clerk came up the second time with me to see if the card worked. When it didn't, she solved the problem and just moved me to a new room. I felt like she genuinely cared about my stay.

I was really looking forward to waffles at breakfast but they weren't part of the choices. The curtains on the outside window didn't close at all so it wasn't as dark as I prefer. Small issues - everything else was great.

The hotel is close to where we are headed for our destination. There are lots of stores/shops around that were helpful, including a grocery store just across the parking lot, and several options for fast food. The staff is great and the breakfast in the morning was a nice additions. It helps with travel cost. Complimentary laundry was VERY helpful. The bed was way better than our last stop.

The price was a little higher than we hoped but was manageable and the food/laundry options helped offset that. All the halls look alike so it was difficult to orient yourself sometimes.

Even though they were full and had a wedding. They got our room ready early and we got Checked in early and to our family function also. Breakfast was small but delicious!!! Young lady at breakfast very helpful and friendly.

TV couldn't get the guide to move. So went to try and get Netflix. Went all fussy. Gave up. Was heading to our family function and decided we didn't need TV. So didn't ask for support.

Amazing location. All amenities within walking distance. So many diff restaurants to choose from. Hotel staff were more than accommodating. My room was prepared for me by the end of every day. Sooooo clean. Everything was perfect.

What a nice hotel! I was super impressed by how cozy and comfortable this hotel was. The room was perfect, bed was perfect and comfortable and was super quiet. Got a great night sleep!
