Very convenient location. The breakfast was pre-packaged cinnamon rolls, but hot coffee/water available. The staff were very nice and friendly. The food at the saloon was good - they probably need better ingredients but the recipes, cooking, technique, seasoning, etc were great. We stayed in the tents and G1 did get a little wet inside in one spot on a night it rained, but nothing that extraordinary for camping. (no obvious leaks, big puddles, etc.). The property is a work in progress but it looks like there are well-laid plans that are being developed. More landscaping, especially native plants, like near the saloon, would look nice around the tents. We did see some native mayapple growing near one of the ponds, likely seeded by some box turtles. We also spotted eastern bluebirds from the tent.

More access to indoor restrooms would be very convenient for the campers. The conference center that was open 24/7 was occupied by staff during our stay, which made access very awkward.

Peaceful and quiet. I love the outdoors so it was perfect.

I do think the price was a little steep considering it was a tent! And it would have been alot better with running water

Blown away by the staff. Sierra was a wonderful bartender and Josh was a solid chef. Got to interact with both of them. Great kindness, and even better hospitality. Booze selection was very very impressive and while the menu itself was short, the insistence on quality was quite impressive.

We happen to be the only couple there that night. So it was a little creepy coming back from a show and Brown🙏 county but we did feel safe. However, we heard banjos in the distance.

The location is a 10/10 and the staff was amazing! I slept like a baby under the stars and with the sounds of nature keeping me at a calm state all night. For the price you really can’t beat this experience!

If you’re looking for a more hotel feel I would spring for the Inn which is what we will do next time. I thought there would be bathrooms available like camping style down by the tents and domes and my husband and I never did find any. This only became a problem when I woke up with food poisoning (from a restaurant in town, not on property). It was so private but almost eerily so because we had no serve to ask where the bathrooms were and the offices were only reachable by driving. If you’re an experienced camper (we definitely are not) none of this would be a problem for you as it is glamping for the most part.

I loved this place. It was so cozy. The inside of hotel is decorated so cute, the rooms were named. We had Wyatt Earp Room. There is a restaurant and bar downstairs. A band comes in to play from 8:00-11:00. The food was so good! The peanut butter pie was to die for. There is a fire pit, games to play. The atmosphere was amazing and staff was so friendly and accommodating.

The room we were in was clean and nice except it was misleading on description of the room and we had two adults sleeping in loft beds. Manager tried to help us move but they were sold out. He was refunding us money and changing description. So nice!

Peaceful, close to nature, away from traffic, deer passed through, great for meditation and healing.

No, community showers. Our mattress wasn’t the best quality. There isn’t an actual electricity hook up. For those thinking they are going to have a home experience they may be upset to not have a radio or tv. Internet service was very week.

We were the only guests there which I actually liked. Quiet, beautiful scenery, and great location. Close to Nashville but not too close. Did not have a TV, which actually was ok because I watch TV too much at home.

The saloon was not open until Wednesday. We arrived on Monday and left Wednesday AM. We were not aware of this ahead of time or we would have changed our days.

I loved the location, friendliness of the staff, the setting was beautiful, the extra firewood was nice, and tge on-site restaurant was fantastic.

It was a little colder than anticipated. I wish there had been an offer for more blankets. I also didn't expect one porta potty for so many tents/domes, but it wasn't an issue during our stay except that one of the other guests took all the toilet paper to try to light his fire.

I liked how spacious the room was, and how friendly Ed was towards us and helping us to unload.

I wasn’t a huge fan of the bathroom, only because of having littles with no tub. We also didn’t have enough towels/wash clothes or really anywhere to hang them once we did dry off. Other then that we had a wonderful stay 🙂

Peaceful location. Quiet, not crowded. Really nice staff. Good food right down stairs at saloon. Not far from little Nashville. Had a rustic old west feel.

Walls a bit thin. Music from saloon could be heard. Beds a little too firm. Bathrooms kinda small. No TV in room. Common place for extra seating room or use of fridge.
