The location was great as it was an easy walk to shops, cafes, and restaurants. The cottage was exceptionally clean with everything you could think of to make your stay enjoyable. The cottage was spacious with kitchen appliances if you wanted to do your own meals. Decor was lovely, the bed was comfortable, and it was great to find it had an electric blanket. It was nice to arrive on a cold day to find the heat pump was going, and the cottage was warm and cosy. I would highly recommend and would stay again.

It was so neat and tidy. Felt like more of a home than a hotel room. My girlfriend particularly liked that there was a hair straightener and a small kitchen. The bed was huge and extremely comfortable as well. As well as that, the location couldn’t have been better. About a three minute walk into the centre of the town which has everything. Can more or less park your car on day one and not use it again. We had a great time and if in the area again, will definitely come back! The owners were also lovely and very welcoming while also giving us privacy.

Such a beautiful setting. The room was perfect, heaps of space, a beautiful comfortable bed, adequate sized kitchen and bathroom. Lovely luxuries like coffee machine, milk, tea and coffee pods provided, bathroom extra towels, hand and body lotion, soaps, shampoo and conditioner, on the table some beautifully sweet home grown grapes. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Booked the outside spa bath for 2 nights. Could easily have stayed for a week, thank you for having us stay.

It was very comfortable and easy to find. Very clean a huge selection of coffee, very nicely presented and plenty of towels. Added bonus they had a hair straightener which I took advantage of and electric blankets we were nothing but cozy, would stay again!!

The privacy was super , ambiance just lovely - charming cottage with all necessary facilities. Shower was consistent re : temperature, good pressure. Great to have hair drier, tongs, iron and 'working' kitchen.

Steps to lawn - wee bit wobbly / dangerous?

We could walk up and down the Main Street of Greytown, enjoyed a delicious dinner at Cuckoo Pizza Restaurant. Great quiet location, pleased to have a choice of Twin beds for my Sister and I to enjoy a shopping/exploring weekend. We would stay again, Thanks

Absolutely loved our stay at Shy Studio. The room was a great size and the bed was extremely comfortable. The owners left lots of lovely little touches around the place, and the kitchen is very well equipped. We also booked out the outdoor bath and would highly recommend. Overall, had a great night and we are already keen to come back!

We loved how snug and comfy the whole vibe was, and the thought that had obviously gone into both the layout and the features. Especially after two nights on marae mattresses, the bed alone was worth everything, and overall our studio stay was heavenly.

Nice and quaint and very cosy, bed sheets, linen and towels were immaculately clean, which I like as hygiene is a priority for me, location was perfect, Also the owners made an effort to say hi and they thought of everything, hair straighteners, blower, moisturiser, milk bath salts very much appreciated

Absolutely brilluant. Comfortable quiet and peaceful. The forethought in providing unlocked for things such as espresso and instant coffee, milk and soy milk,tea and herb tree and much much more. Absolutely brilliant.
