We stayed in unit 15 nice and roomy with a california king bed. Sky TV, with kitchenette Large breakfast bar and too chairs. Very clean and tidy. Also great parking along side our unit. Great service when we arrived lady from the office escorted us to our room and explained how the TV worked and opologised about the small ripps in the net curtains. Was also offered free milk but we didn't need it.

Everything was perfect except the shower was bit small ok if your skinny. Such a large spacious bathroom and a tiny shower. Also the water fluctuated between hot and cold. My husband said the water was fine when he used the shower. But in saying this I would stay here again

Scenicland Motel is a nice stopover option in Greymouth. We were pleasantly surprised by the roominess of this unit, with its separate queen bedroom. The kitchen area and surrounding lounge room is more than adequate for a few days stay. This is an older style motel. There are tell-tale modifications being made to modernize the place & add to the conveniences for guests. Our rear-unit backed on to a fairly busy secondary road which calmed down by 9pm at night. The manager, Tina, was super friendly and helpful. There's the convenience of the New World supermarket about 30metres up the road for any food or other necessities during your stay.

The soap-holder in the shower kept falling off the wall. A more permanent fixture is required.

We were greeted well in reception. We were shown to the room. The room was very clean with good facilities. Beds were comfortable. Shower had good pressure, plenty of towels etc.

The two, two seater settes were a little uncomfortable for us. We were concerned by the notice in the kitchen saying you could cook, but what they wanted you to cook was quite limited. Especially withe the threat of a 200 dollar fine. It would definitely affect ethnic minorities. Why not provide extractor fans to solve the obvious issues of smell? We were told there would be a double bed in each room, however, one had a double, one had 2 singles.

The loveliest lady in reception. Very kind and helpful. She knows how to greet a weary traveller. Very tidy accomodation. Neat and fresh. Giant comfy Bed.

The shower fluctuated water temp. It had a moment where it spiked to max heat then quickly went ice cold for about a minute. It came back then fluctuated more but not drastically. Secondly. The fan on the aircon unit squeels at any speed. Not terribly loud but definitely is not normal. I had to turn it off.

Nice and clean room with everything we needed, kitchenette, bathroom, two chairs and a small table outside. Parking was right outside the room, quite convenient. Very friendly reception, guest laundry with washer and dryer available. Grocery store right next door, within walking distance. Overall it was a very nice stay, and we wouldn't hesitate to book there again.

Again, I have to look really hard to come up with something "negative". Maybe that sitting outside wasn't as much fun anymore when the neighbors arrived because their car parking was right in front of our door? I feel it is more important that everyone has free parking close to their room, so I am not really complaining about it. Also, if you want to be near downtown this might not be the place for you as it is a bit outside of the city centre. Nothing really negative for us.

The owner picked me up from the station as I had arrived on the TranzAlpine train. He also brought me into town to start a day trip. Facilities were clean and comfortable. There was a supermarket a few minutes walk away and a nice restaurant close by for meals.

It is about 20 minutes walk into town centre. No problem for me but some people may not like that.

Really spacious with good light. I loved having the bedroom separate from the living dining area. This was important to me because I was working for all three days I stayed and I don't like those motels with small rooms where it feels like you're working in your bedroom.

Wifi was OK but was slow between 4pm and 7pm. I expect that's because it's peak time. But a bit more bandwidth would be really helpful for work.

We stayed in this Motel 13 years ago. We were happy with it then so decided to use it again. The Motel has new owners who have renovated the place and it is good value for money so we were happy with it this time too.

It rained the whole time we were in Greymouth but we can't blame that on the Motel. Other than that, the Motel was fine.

The rooms were very clean & tidy. We were given the unit which is best suited for someone in a wheelchair. This meant the sink & handbasin were very low. We understand the reason for this but we were not expecting to be in a unit like this. It wasn’t a problem, it was just different. We did however enjoy the spacious shower.

There weren’t any bedside cabinets. We stayed 6 nights & would’ve appreciated having them.

Kevin was very welcoming and was able to drop us to the bus station on one of our days. Our room was exceptionally clean and very comfy, good kitchen, great shower. The bed was firm but comfy, best sleep we've had in NZ. Love the verandah out the front to soak up the arvo sun. Great with supermarket next door.

Not the motel's fault, but there were limited nice places to eat when we wanted to have a meal out.
