Friendly and welcoming staff. Clean room. Nice facilities - playground occupied the kids. We actually arrived a little after 10am, as we were travelling for a funeral and knew some extended family already were staying at the park and we could use their apartment to get changed. The staff were very nice and freed up our chalet at only 10.30am, which we were not expecting at all.

From website, thought we were to supply bedding, so brought along, but our room came already furnished. Also, the heating took a little time to work out how to turn on properly.

Old but well maintained. Stayed in a unit with comfy queen bed and bunks. Had everything needed - table and chairs, storage room under seats, plates/utensils, glasses, mugs, jug, toaster, fridge, microwave, tea towels, wash up bowl to take dishes to kitchen just across the car park. Loved the intricately folded towels!

I like to recycle, but the Recycle bins all had rubbish in them rather than recycling. I suspect it was because they were the first bins outside kitchen, the labels faced away, and they looked the same as rubbish bins that were around the corner. so people coming out of kitchen would not have realised they were not rubbish bins. I suggest you swap locations with the rubbish bins.

The laundry facilities is very spacious. With more than two. Washing machines an more than two dryers. There’s also ironing boards and a lot of bench space with sinks the toilet facilities also have a lot of space and a spacious, open kitchen area an the fact that there is an outside kitchen area you have barbecues, a pit with fire wood and a large hot plate too cook on, gas burners & sinks outside, gaming lounge dining area swimming pool is free, a park the kids loved it specially the giant bubble. housekeeping every time they drive past we got a big smile and a wave hello as if they knew us the staff is very friendly

The wifi, spa

Fantastic staff very friendly. Room was so good very quiet no lights to disturb and keep us awake. Cleaning was good but I recommend using less product on your floors and on the bathroom walls can see all the cleaner that's not been wiped off properly (sorry I'm a cleaner as well) though one thing the bed was very very hard so wasn't the best of sleeps but that's because I don't like a very firm bed. Pool was great. Overall it was a good motel an value for money would definitely come back and stay again

Room was very comfortable and had a lot of space and full kitchen facilities which was perfect, full afternoon sun and very nice with a deck looking over the park. Pool was great as was the basketball hoops and playground.

There was an ant problem in our room, signs in room would have been helpful for this, if we had of known we wouldn’t have left a box of crispy cream donuts on the bench. Although saved the adults from some extra calories, the kid was not happy.

Having a fridge in the cabins is good, along with toaster, jug etc. Nice and warm. Owner/manager very understanding on 2nd to last night when my grandson had a bit of a meltdown, concerning other other guests.

I didn't realize, when booking, that shared bathroom meant completely separate block (I thought the 2 rooms shared a bathroom). Being on crutches, it often meant I just made it to the bathroom on time. And a bit chilly at 2/3am going over.

So long as you know what you're booking - room with sleeping places for 3 people, shared bathroom, fully equipped kitchen and other public areas, minimal crockery in-room with basic chairs and table, perfectly sized fan heater - then you'll be fine. Nothing fancy but if all you need is somewhere clean, warm and dry to sleep, eat and heat food unless you want to use the excellent kitchen facilities, it's perfect. It was clean. The bedding was warm and felt fresh. The bathroom and showers were very clean and ample sufficient.

The only thing that I didn't like was the strong smell of disinfectant in the room. I'm assuming that smell was preferable to what might have been left behind by the previous guests so I wasn't about to complain.

location was excellent. property was good and had pool and playground for the kids. i would have loved for the kitchen to have some sort of spices and oil needs for cooking or have coffee tea or sugar available for coffee but overall was good. my family had a great time

I highly recommend staying here it is exceptional. The whole place was so clean and tidy and such amazing value for an affordable price. I love the little extras that were free of charge such as hair dryer and straightener. The spa was very relaxing too. We felt very comfortable and welcome and will definitely be staying here again next time we are visiting Hastings. Thank you so much for your amazing hospitality ❤️

We were there for the BMX nationals and we were 6mins from the track. Close to all the shops . It was absolutely amazing and perfect for a self catering family visit. It was way better than I expected. It’s perfect for children and teens and adults with everything to keep you occupied and entertained

The pool needs to be heated a little . Far too cold for me to get in . Would be nice to be able to have the hot tubs with one less wall . To be able to overlook the pool.And you need more and newer go carts . My teens Loved them. It was a shame we had to leave. We all wanted to stay longer.
