We were delighted to be at Hotel Starvis. We had a wonderful stay. The hotel is in the center of Sfakia, near the port, the restaurants, the beach and boats to Loutro, Glyka Nera, etc… The room was perfectly equipped with a fridge, heating plates, bathroom, Air conditioning… yes it’s old equipment but when you pay less than 50€/night you cannot expect for more. THIS IS NOT A LUXURY HOTEL, it’s a friendly hotel for simple people that want to enjoy Creete as it is and not to stay locked up in their room.

We enjoyed everything

Fantastically located at the heart of the village with its own cute 'platia' with tables and chairs and drink service. Very authentic greek village feel. With a lovely tamarisk tree in the middle. Seems to be a well established meeting point for travellers and hikers and locals. The room was very clean and large. It was a studio with 'city' views. The views are pleasant , of the platia, the tree, the castle and restored buildings and particularly at night when lit up.

The oner and staff where very nice and friendly, the hotel was not so busy at the time so the oner gave me a room upgrade sea view without me asking for one , the stay was just perfect , the room was super clean , spacious, amazing view, I will go back anytime, the hotel also has breakfast optional not in price but we'll worth it ,

I did not stay in the hotel shown. I was in an older hotel run by them. It was clean but it was not in the hotel advertised. Needs new refrigerator.

It was in a good location but I would have appreciated to have known about the steps getting to the hotel and room.

The staff were kind and friendly. The location is excellent - right in town and 2 minutes to the beach. The room was clean, with house keeping coming every day. The bed was comfortable

It was quite noisy from the people staying in the room next door - sound travels a lot. It was okay because I had ear plugs, but if noise bothers you, maybe don’t book here.

Spacious apartment with small kitchenette. Bathroom access was via one of the bedrooms so more suitable for families rather than friends sharing.location is excellent

Very nice location near the sea and near the centre of choras Sfakion,near restaurants coffee shops and super market.very clean room with the necessary facilities and it have a balcony with an extraordinary view of the sea.recommended for a family stay.

All the things are very good and I like this hotel .my stay at this hotel it was a great opportunity to know a very beautiful village with calming atmosphere and to go to the beautiful beaches of choras,loutrou,illigas, agias roumelis, amoudi etc. I recommend this hotel 🏨

Reliable budget rooms/hotel in Hora Sfakion. Stayed several times for a night before moving on but it's a decent budget option with clean rooms & friendly staff; the little cafe does a good breakast too.

Nothing really.

We were in late and checked out early, but the room was just what we were looking for. Great view, easy check-in/out. Close to everything you need - and we loved the city. Only thing is to be aware of parking since it probably can be crowded due to the ferry in the city. We arrived late so it was no problem, but passed the city earlier to go to Aradena - and the city was packed with parked cars.

For the price there was nothing not to like.

The owner was very nice he upgraded our room free of charge, very nice and clean rooms , nice sea view, aircon, fridge , warm water, thank you so much
