Great and quiet location, friendly staff. The kitchenette had everything we needed to deal with what was necessary for our 7 month old. Nice coffee in the lobby, on the machine.

In the pictures, the rooms seem new, but in reality they are quite old, in need for redecorating. In the pictures the room seem bright and airy, but our room was rather grey and grim. It wasn’t too pleasant or cosy to stay in. The kettle was in a really bad state and we needed hot water to prepare the formula bottles for our baby, as the formula we use in the UK needs to be sterilised first with a shot of hot water. Thankfully, we were able to boil water on the stove. That kettle has never been cleaned/ descaled and should be replaced. Overall, we would stat here again.

The property is around a 20minute walk to the centre of Rennes but was easy to do. There are some bars and restaurants in the area to stay more locally. The reception area is very lovely. The check in was easy but we arrived a little early and unfortunately couldn’t get into our room early but were able to access the parking early which was good. The parking is paid and secure via code- it is a small garage so I would make sure you have asked for a parking space in advance. There are a lot of concrete walls around in the parking area but the spaces are reasonably sized and we didn’t find it overly challenging parking compared to lots of other carparks in France. The room was comfortable, had good facilities and was quiet. The WiFi worked well.

The rooms weren’t as exceptionally nice and modern looking as the reception area was, but were fine.

The location was good, we were about a 10 minute walk from the main centre.The staff were friendly. The room was a good size with very plain decor, although a little tired, there was a dent in the bathroom door. The kitchenette was more than adequate for our needs.

As we only stayed for 6 nights we did not qualify to have our room cleaned by the hotel. There was nothing for us to use to sweep the floor through or clean the bathroom and the bins were not emptied at all.There was an unpleasant drains smell from the toilet, we bought an air freshener to try to combat this. There a sponge provided for the washing up, this was well used and dirty, although they did replace it when we asked them to. The washing up liquid provided had not been refilled, both these ran out during our stay

Shower was warm in bathroom, bright lights. Kitchen unit was well set up with lots of space for storing food and the crockery and saucepans were good use. The beds were fairly comfy. I also loved using the machines in the fitness suite every other morning. To save money, we didn't eat breakfast in the hotel every day but the selection on offer when we did have breakfast was very good indeed, coffee machine, a mixture of pastries, cereal, yoghurt, also eggs and sausages. Staff were helpful and friendly

Although the bed was comfortable to use it was awkward that they would move as we were getting into bed / into a position. The freezer could not freeze the water for the ice tray. The washing machine was broken on the Monday when I had a pile of clothes to I wanted done but it was OK, the lady at reception gave us directions to the nearest launderette and a free pod / tablet

Spacious room, bathroom and communal areas. Small gym for those of inclined to keep fit. Good location, about 10 minutes’ walk from the city centre and 5 from a supermarket. Good cooking facilities in the room and everything well labelled and accompanied by user information. Lovely, friendly staff - very helpful.

Air-con was fierce and can only be controlled centrally by the hotel staff. But when we asked about this they changed the settings for us really quickly.

Loved that it was clean, comfortable and located close to restaurants and attractions. Staff member gave excellent restaurant recommendation. Safe storage of our tandem bike was a plus. They also had a good laundry

We are riding and arrived 20 minutes early. We have lots of little bags and they wanted to charge us per bag to store for 20 minutes! We were disappointed.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Everything was clean and tidy. Kitchen facilities and equipment very good. Lidl only a few minutes walk away and 15 mins into town centre. Rennes was lively and had a great atmosphere. Plenty of bars, restaurants and cafes close by.

Nothing to dislike about the Hotel. There are places locally to walk the dog but dogs must always be on a lead. This is the same all over France though so the dog has to get used to having no freedom.

Great location, we enjoyed walking along side the river and exploring. There is a park near by with football nets and facilities for all ages. Plenty of restaurants and bars in the area. The kitchenette is perfect, and has everything you'd need and more. Plenty of space, and a really clean and pleasant place. The gym room is great too, never too busy.

The WiFi was a bit touch and go, but other than that everything was prefect.

The room was clean and comfortable with a little kitchenette in a cupboard, so it was good for making tea/coffee. There was also a safe in the room. Most of the staff were extremely nice and helpful and the Hôtel was staffed 24/7. We arrived by car and the parking was right next door so very easy and convenient. It is about 15/20 minutes walking to the centre of town. The breakfast was good.

The hotel does not have an evening restaurant, so we had to go out to dinner, we took the car as it was raining and found parking extremely difficult for the restaurant that the hotel had recommended. It would have been better to walk a bit to find a suitable restaurant. The only member of staff we found extremely grumpy and uncooperative was the young man in charge of breakfast. Clearly, he did not like guests arriving only a short time before he was closing and wanted to get away. He started clearing all the food away before 10 o’clock and without checking if we still needed anything more. 🥺

Great value for money. Although apartments are basic in terms of style they are very comfortable and clean. Very spacious also, handy kitchenette in the room with sink, fridge, 2 ring hob and microwave. Staff at reception were always very friendly and helpful. Good location within 10/15 minutes walk of the city centre.

We stayed for 7 ,nights and would have liked a towel change after 3/4 nights.
