The building was Beautiful, and it was so cool to see all the historical details. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The staff was very friendly. Broadway Grill & Games was a fun addition!

We were very excited to use the pool & sauna, only to find out it was closed due to storm damage. At least we had the bar & arcade to entertain us. The bathroom in our room was a bit tight, and the sink was oddly outside of the actual bathroom.

The location was excellent. Rooms were clean. Staff was friendly and accommodating.

Rooms were a little pricy and I did not like the fact that they advertised breakfast included but it was an additional $10 charge.

Wanyed to explore more in the hotel but it wasnt the hotel fault. Had a severe storm the day before that knocked out alot of power for businesses

I stayed in the bridal suite the weekend of my wedding, which took place in the event center of the hotel. The event staff did a great job to ensure that my ceremony and reception went as planned so I could enjoy my day without worry. The bridal suite, event center and the rooftop have great views of the surrounding waterfront. I enjoyed every aspect of my stay at the hotel.

The shower was somewhat cool and the water pressure was low. It was reported to the front desk and a plumber on site immediately started working on the issue. He also fixed the sink which we didn't even request. I was very impressed at the follow-up. We also enjoyed the basement sports bar and main bar in the lobby. Very nice staff and comfortable. Drinks and snacks were very good! The bakery on the main floor is to die for! Don't leave without a treat, or two!

Two out of three mornings coffee and hot water were not available in the lobby so we had to make breakfast(oatmeal needed the microwave) in our room. It seemed like this would have been rectified after the previous morning. The safe in our room never worked. I reported it the first morning and new batteries were immediately put in the safe, however, that was not the issue and they quickly wore down. The safe hadn't been double checked to make sure that was the problem with it.

The location is great, while capturing the historical aspect of the area. Room was quiet and comfortable.

A little tired, needs some touch ups here and there. the glass on the beautiful historical photo in our room was broken

Registration was fast, easy and attendant was friendly and informative. Bed was big and comfortable. A nice Italian restaurant located in the same building was nice, food was above average and price was $$$. The building is old but the interior has been remodeled. The furnishings were sparse but new and clean.

Bathroom was super small, shower stall super small. Sink had a flow problem. These issues were minor to the noise. I was located on the the second floor with windows next to a second floor roof patio which we were assured was closed. Except people were outside my window partying until 1:30 am at which time I had to notify the front desk. The attendant was apologetic but tried to justify by explaining that there was a wedding rehearsal party in the hotel, as if that should matter. When I voiced my opinion that “I didn’t care”, she immediately alerted the security to take care of the problem. It took about an hour before the noisy party left the patio. There is a sports bar in the basement we didn’t visit.

I definitely appreciated that the lady did what she could to get me into a room right away even though check in wasnt until 3pm she was very sweet didnt hesitate to help me out..

The skirt to bed looked like it had dried old vomit on it.

The hotel had staffing problems, i understand that, and the developers/investors who saved this great old hotel from certain destruction need to have income to pay for the return on investment. i understand that. The normal rate was OK if the dining room and bar were open. The basement game room bar certainly was not what us late 60's couple was looking for, we did not enter. the great Gatsby Bar is where we wanted Martini's and Cosmo's. OK I would have issued an in-house credit to make up the loss of use of the Bar and restaurant, unrestricted $50 would have brought me back and i would have spent a good deal upon my return, enough to fully offset the $50 Credit voucher, Rooms were great our Lake view room allowed us to see the city fireworks show from our room while we ate a late dinner ( went 20 minutes south to find highly recommended Asian take out to bring back to hotel) The real highlight was watching the Lady Manager ( all by herself) at check in and later handle all the tough customers who wanted their rooms right away, and thought they were in Beverly Hills ! that Gal did an awwsum customer service job handling the pressure like a real pro ! Short Staffed, the room turn arounds were way behind. Irate customers did not get it, and just go some where and come back later. No matter of fist pounding and grouchy displays of ignorance was going to change the circumstance. That manager handled it all with a smile on her face ! great old hotel I'll be back when the bar and dining room are open, i hope that Lady Manager is on duty when i do, or better if she got promoted and is also training others how to keep their cool in a tough situation.

when they can get staffed up it will be better, all business are in the same situation unfortunately

The employees were very friendly and happy to help u at anytime really make u feel at home

There wasn’t anything I didn’t like about the property it’s truly a beautiful place
