Despite being dated it had a lovely authentic vibe. The studio had everything we needed for our 5 night stay, parking at your front door and the most fabulous staff who were so helpful, provided fantastic recommendations for local restaurants. We loved the location on the edge of town and either walked or got a very short and cheap taxi ride up the hill in the evenings after dinner. The local area has so many great beaches we didn’t even use the pool during our stay.

I would not usually stay somewhere without air conditioning however we were fine with a fan, even though it was July and hot.

The apartments are of good size, very clean and comfortable, fitted with a small kitchen unit with a fridge, stove, kettle, toaster and a coffee maker. The interiors are in the old style (we liked the charm of it although more demanding travelers might consider it basic). We stayed in an apartment very close to the swimming pool which was great. The owners of the apartments (Anna and her family) were very nice and helpful. The gentleman on the night shift was super friendly. The location is good, a short walk to the old town but a bit up the hill. Supermarket was also close by.

We were a group of four and had an amazing time at this apartment in Lagos. Ana was incredibly nice and super friendly – she made us feel welcome right from the start. The apartment was spotless, and the cleaning was absolutely perfect. The staff were all polite and helpful, always available if we had any questions. The pool was clean and well-maintained, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We all loved our time here and would definitely come back. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Lagos!

Nothing. Everything was perfect!

Older style apartments with beautiful pool, and well kept grounds. Comfortable beds. Nice bathroom w/tub/shower. Ana, who communicated with us prior to arrival and then showed us to our apt and inside, where everything was and how it worked, also gave us map and directions to restaurants and attractions.

2 of three refrigerator door shelves were broken and kept falling down when we opened the door. The toilet kept running after flushing and you had to push the button a couple times to stop it. Otherwise a great place I would return to and recommend.

Good quality, well managed and maintained with attention to detail, clean and comfortable and with a traditional homely feel. We stayed in a one bed bungalow right near the pool, it was perfect. The complex is a lovely oasis, very much part of the town but doesn’t feel like it. The location is great. During our week here, we walked every where, to the many beaches, the marina, the promenade and the wonderful old town, plus a superb Intermarché nearby (twice we bought fresh fish, delicious salad stuff and wine, as an alternative to eating out). I would do the entire holiday again!

Just that I would have appreciated a couple of wine glasses in the kitchen. However, I did request a couple of mugs (as there were only small tea cups in the cupboard) and they were cheerfully brought straight round! There is a lovely kids play area in the garden. It’s sad to see some areas such as the children’s play houses and bbq area looking a little uncared for compared to everything else.

What an amazing find! I've seen reviews where other people have said it's a bit dated.. it isn't...its rustic Portuguese! We adored the quaintness...the pool is immaculate..the location is amazing... a perfect spot to explore all the gorgeous beaches from. The owner was lovely and very welcoming..giving advice on the local area. We asked for an early check-in, and this was granted. We loved it!

Nothing not to like

A really nice and spacious apartment with traditional features making it feel very homely and cosy. The place was very clean and well looked after and the staff were extremely helpful with providing tips for the local area and allowing us to check out late on our last day. The location is also at a handy walking distance from everything. Would definitely stay again!

Not a fault of the property but the pool area got a bit rowdy on some days with kids running riot, jumping into the pool, splashing other guests around the pool and playing frisbee and ball games, despite signs saying this wasn't allowed.

Really cute traditional bungalows. Anna and the staff (reception is open 24-hours) were absolutely lovely, providing a warm greeting, a map, and a small "starter kit" of olive oil, spices, and dish cleaning supplies. She suggested a few local restaurants to try. The cleaning staff came by every day to empty the trash and clean the bathroom. The Portuguese are always so kind, which is something I appreciate when I travel. The space was safe and (mostly) quiet (my neighbors were loud a couple of nights, so bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper). Nice pool, with plenty of chairs and space to relax. The closest beach was a 15-minute walk. It was fine for me, but the hills on the way back might be difficult in summer heat. Overall, a good experience.

I considered booking the property long-term for remote work, but ran into some limitations. The kitchen was functional: it had a tiny stovetop, microwave, coffee maker and small fridge, as well as a cabinet with pots and pans. However, without a stove, it was a bit difficult to cook for myself. Also, there's no laundry on the property. I didn't realize that, and had to make a couple of trips to a coin laundry, which was about 10-minutes away.

Staff were really friendly and helpful. Map of local area on arrival and info about best beaches. Shop and some local Portuguese restaurants close by, felt we tasted real Portuguese food when we visited 2 of these. Short walk down a hill to the town. Lagos has a lovely Old Town to stroll around and a marina with trips to the local rock formations highly recommended.

These are fantastic apartments, within east enough walking distance of both beaches and Lagos town. Very uphill on the way back but we didn’t mind that and Ubers are readily available. 2 bed apartment was spacious, clean and comfortable. Ana and her staff were very welcoming and helpful. We had a lovely holiday & will return again. Would highly recommend.
