It was all about the location. It was where I needed to be. The hotel was nice. Staff was friendly and helpful!

I didn't know that the area of the hotel I stayed in didn't have an elevator. I have a bum leg and that was somewhat of a challenge though the staff was nice about carrying up my suitcase. I didn't like that there was no ice on the second floor where my room was (see no elevator). And why do hotels insist on having extra firm mattresses? Not to mention that they never turn their mattresses so there is always a dent next to the night table! Many of us prefer a squishy bed and would travel more if we were taken into consideration!

Never having been to Frontenac and only used the hotel as a base for 2 nights at the start of a 2 week holiday to Missouri from the UK (our son is an international student at a university nearby), it was the perfect location for us. The bonus of the pool, free onsite parking and a good restaurant/bar all counted towards exactly what we were looking for at a very reasonable price.

We found the hotel very dark inside but as we weren't there very much it was fine. We do tend to enjoy natural daylight and found the breakfast restaurant, main restaurant/bar and inside areas very dark as they didn't have any windows.

beautiful old building in a suburban part of town. free parking, good tv situation, clean and comfortable room.

our room was reeeeeallllly far from check in, in a whole other building. there was no staff at all in the other building and maybe no other people at all, which was kinda creepy. we had to walk a long way around a ballroom to our room. we did not have enough towels in the room for 4 people but we were so far from the desk it felt crazy to mess with it. unclear if we missed breakfast because nobody told us about it or if there wasn’t any. basically felt like we were in a separate hotel by ourselves which some may enjoy.

staff went above and beyond. shoutout to Romonda(sorry if it’s spelled wrong), she was incredibly empathetic. my reservation through booking.com never went through on bookings end but the hotel was still so accommodating! beautiful miss Romonda is an immense asset to the hotel and staff.

booking.com needs to fix their issue with reservation confirmations, in general, but maybe check into it for this hotel. I recommend calling the property to make sure they retrieved confirmation or just don’t use booking.

We have stayed at your hotel many times and always love it, but our last stay, the room was not up to par and next time we come will ask not to be given that room again.

The staff were incredibly accommodating, even after our plans changed. They provided secure parking for our motorbike right at the front entrance so they could keep an eye on it. The food was excellent both dinner and breakfast. Rooms large and well appointed with very comfortable beds.

There was nothing to dislike.

The location, the nice big room, the quiet.

The furst day we arrived, the front desk staff were ok, no real standouts. The asked if they could put us in a room separate from main building. We declined, obviously. We went to the restaurant to eat, great waiter who was super efficient. After that, all meals were slow and very ineffecient wait staff. Good food though.

The hotel is a beautiful property. With that said it wasn’t great that a group of kids were allowed to run throughout the hotel playing “ ding dong ditch” security seemed a bit relaxed about it.

Breakfast was good but little expensive with the Items offered in Breakfast

The Breakfast had less varieties and little expensive.

The hotel was beautiful inside and out! Awesome pool! Food at the restaurant was amazing!

My dishes from room service sat outside my room door too long for my liking.
