Our room no: 4 was very comfortable, clean, & spacious. although as the windows were not able to be opened it got rather stuffy, however I asked for an extra fan was delivered promptly. The breakfast was superb with a plentiful & excellent choices cooked to order, the breakfast staff were simply wonderful, pleasant and left you to enjoy the chefs cooking in peace, and not too hurried for you to enjoy it. thankyou.

We found everything really nice, apart from the first person you meet at a hotel is the front desk, the young lady (glasses & arm tattoo) was on her computer, not even acknowledge us when we said hello, or say 'Hi be with you in just a moment' Nothing NO greeting, NO eye contact, No smile. she just carried on with her computer.!!! Eventually after signing in & got our room key, No enjoy your stay was forth coming, just eyes back to her screen. Even when we left there was 'NO hope you had a nice stay with us, hope to see you again soon' We thought she was the 'fly in the ointment' at the hotel BUT everyone else was brilliant, pleasant, smiles & helpful.

We enjoyed on 2 night stay at the Cliftonville Hotel. Our sea view was excellent. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was luxurious with a roll top bath and walk-in shower. The breakfast was good and dinner we had on one evening was nice. Decor in the hotel was interesting with original features and stained glass windows. Good location to walk to the pier and town. Parking was convenient at the hotel.

We definitely paid for the view and bathroom with the price of the room. On top of the cost of the room we had to pay another £70 (£17.50 each) for breakfast which was overpriced. I knew breakfast wasn't included but Booking.com should see to include the breakfast in their price. The restaurant service in the evening was a bit disorganised.

The location is amazing and the car park is right next door! The staff was amazing from my first to my last interaction with Reception, to the dinner and breakfast staff, all were friendly, helpful, interesting, and hoping to help this be a fantastic stay. They certainly succeeded. We had just a small bite for dinner, which was good. Breakfast was unusually delicious. I didn't think about AC being uncommon in England, so I was a little worried when I got to my room, but there was a fan in the closet that did a great job and kept the room cool enough for me to sleep well. I definately hope to return.

Staff were amazing! Location was perfect with a beautiful sea view. The hotel was extremely clean and well presented. Not only was the room nice but also the restaurant and main entrance. It was lovely to have a separate dining room for dogs which shows respect for those without a dog. There a wide range to offer for breakfast- the only fault was the brioche bun with the bacon bap was just too crispy. Overall is was a lovely stay and would 100% stay again.

The hotel rooms were just slightly too hot and we only had 1 window that opened. There was a fan in the room which we used, however, even on the highest setting it didn’t give off much air.

Breakfast was one of the best I've ever had. Staff were really good and went out of there way to help in any they could. Staff were very good with my 2 year old running around and understood how hard it was for us to contain him in one place. Was really good to have free orange juice with breakfast and a free jug of water during dinner and tea and even offered water when only using bar to drink without food.

Room was too hot although could not be helped as room was too cramped. Also no lock on bathroom door so if you have little kids they can just push door and can't toilet in peace.

The hotel is in a lovely building with tonnes of original features and interesting spaces. It's in a great location, a very short walk from the centre, but far enough away from the hustle and bustle. Our suite was very spacious with views out to the sea, it had a lovely large bathroom with free-standinh bath and spacious shower. Staff were friendly and professional - the woman who checked us in was very welcoming. Spoilt for choice with the breakfast options and the quality of the food was spot on! Parking spaces are available to save on the extortionate local parking rates.

If I was to be ultra picky, a lick of paint needed in places, but a very minor thing. Overall, we are very happy with it stay and would recommend staying here. We'll return when next visiting Cromer.

The hotel is close to the beach and the town centre. The staff were friendly and helpful and it has a nice atmosphere. The room, number 35 was lovely with a raised area with a table and chairs by the window overlooking the sea. It also had a roll-top bath and a large shower in the bathroom. Also there was tea and coffee making facilities plus a fridge in the room, containing drinks you had to pay for but also, a free bottle of water and 2 lovely little bottles of fresh milk for the tea and coffee, that was a nice touch. The bar and restaurant are lovely, we ate dinner there on our last night. The food was lovely, we didn’t have the pizza but their pizza’s looked delicious. Would definitely recommend this hotel, you just need to ensure you let them know in advance if you have any mobility issues.

The lift only goes up to 3rd floor and the signage from the lift to the room was a bit confusing. Also, we had to walk up a flight of stairs to get to our room once we got out of the lift, that was fine for us but would be challenging for someone with mobility issues.

The lady at reception was very warm, helpful & welcoming. The room was clean & provided all that we needed including the little table & chairs and had a sea view. Bathroom small but facilities great. Enjoyed the lovely selection of teas, coffees & milk as well as the biscuits...nice touch. The bed was amazingly comfortable...had a good nights sleep. We did not eat in the restaurant sadly as we had made arrangements elsewhere but the choices on the menu looked very appetising. We also did not experience breakfast.

The only thing we found in the room was that the windows were extremely draughty. Unfortunately it was a very breezy night in march and being sea facing possibly made it worse. The curtains being very thick & heavy, did help. The only other thing was the difficulty parking in the hotel grounds...very awkward to get to and spaces at angles not conducive to parking a long estate car. The receptionist was very apologetic about this however. There was plenty of parking in the road next to the hotel and across the road at the front but it is low season at the moment. I wonder how easy it will be to park in peak season.

I had a really nice stay at Cliftonville Hotel. Parking was convenient, with spaces available in front of and around the hotel. The room was comfortable and had a nice (sea) view, and the bed provided a good night's sleep. The hotel is in a great location, just a five-minute walk from Cromer centre. The WiFi connection was strong, and I appreciated the tea, coffee, and biscuits provided in the room. Although I didn’t have breakfast, dinner at the hotel was excellent.

There were a couple of small areas for improvement. The television in the room was quite small, which might not be ideal for some guests. Additionally, the shower pressure was quite weak, and a more powerful shower would have made the experience even better.

Bed very comfortable. Bathroom and room clean. First room had a window that would not close. We were quickly moved to another, better room. Breakfast was lovely. Evening meal was very good. Restaurant is in a room which is modeled on a manor house with a massive fireplace and mock minstrels gallery. Lovely stained glass windows overlooked the sea. For a piece of British history, this is the place.

The hotel is quirky and as such the water temperature was a bit variable. But not surprising in a beautiful old building like this.
