Absolutely excellent central location, had all the facilities we needed, nice and dark for sleeping, no street noise (though the noise from other guests was very audible), really kind, lovely staff at reception - they were really helpful with everything we needed while we were there, such as taxi bookings.

They didn't give us the address and self-check in details before we arrived, even though I had asked them days before our flight, and I had given our credit card and passport details as they requested. They only emailed the details while we were on our flight! It caused us issues because our phone struggled with internet when we landed, and so we couldn't access emails and didn't know what address to give the taxi driver. And it wasn't easy to get through to them on the phone either, as the answerphone message was not very clear. It was a stressful start to the holiday

Location is very central between Old Nice, Promenade and city center! Located on a nice walking street with numerous restaurant options as well as Gelato. 10-12 minutes walk from main train station, and also within 2-3 blocks of both metro tram lines( one going direct to airport) Reception staff always willing to help, especially smiling Rebecca!

Lovely hotel with a great vib and perfect location. Staff were just lovely, very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a great choice of cereals, breads and pastries and coffee and juice with a range of non dairy milk. The room was very comfortable and clean and we had a balcony available. Would definitely stay again.The area is very busy during the day and evening but quiet after 11pm to around 6am when local businesses started getting deliveries.

Not a deal breaker and only to mention that from around 6am local deliveries might wake you. Probably not an issue with non street facing rooms.

The location and the personnel, although not always aligned were helpful.

It’s not convenient for families with very small children who still use strollers. There are stairs that you need to climb with your stroller and kid in it, very difficult if you happen to be single parent travelling with the child. And mixed messages, on arrival one of the staff says to let them Know when I would need my room to be cleaned and upon asking on the 3rd day, I was informed that it is not possible and will be done once I leave the room. Also a weird thing to be concerned about was that the door of my room open outwards with all the stuff hanging on it. Made me feel less safe.

Location was great.

The biggest complaint is that although I know the doors are vintage - I would seriously consider updating your locks to card key or modernize the entire door. It was painful to open the door with the old key set. Lacking washcloths. May I suggest a room somewhere on hotel premises where you can install an ice making and water dispenser machine for your guests - water being the more important so that guest can have access to drinking water 24 hours and not just during reception hours. Beach towels would have been nice - one of those thin Turkish types and maybe pads for the rocks on the beach.

Washroom is tiny although it’s fine…. Especially for a Single room which is what I booked.

The staff was very welcoming and helpfull. The room was clean and had all the facilities needed for a one week stay. The location was superb, as it was only few minutes to the beach and with a lot of restaurants in the Massena street. After our request to change the room because of the untypical bathroom the hosts offered us another room which was bigger and with a traditional bathroom without extra charge.

We needed to change the room as the bathroom in the Junior Suit didn't met our expectations. The bathroom's wall was made of colorful glass bricks and the shadow of a person inside was visible from the room. It's kind of a fun, however we didn't turn on the light when entering the bathroom. :) After two days we have changed the room to a better option.

Location was excellent. Apartment was very spacious and clean. Big plus to have the reception staff available from 8am to 8pm in the 3rd floor of the building especially for an apartment building. The staff were excellent, helpful and friendly. Easy to get to from the airport and bus station to the apartment building.

The shower! The shower didn’t have any shower screens and the water went everywhere. The only saving grace was a long handle squeegee broom to push water into the drain. The bathroom floor was flowing the opposite direction of the drain.

I got upgraded to a better room/apartment which was very sweet of the hosts. The location is amazing. Right in the heart and hyper-center of Nice. You will not find a better located place for this price level. The views from the apartment were nice too. The staff were very pleasant and nice to communicate with. The reception has complimentary hot and cold drinks for guests which is a nice touch.

The elevator doesn't stop on the floors but in-between floors on a staircase level so you need to use the stairs regardless. I waited a long time to get my room (which is why I maybe got upgraded). It's an old building from the inside although the rooms and apartments seem fairly new and modern in comparison.

Excellent location. It was peaceful despite the centrality of the location so we could rest at night. The wifi worked well.

We found the matress problematic so our backs hurt especially after the first two nights. What I thought to be a tiny balcony from the photos turned out to be just a bit bigger window sill. So there was no balcony at all. The kitchenette was miniscule. There was no cleaning service at all during our 4 nights stay. No garbage removal at all. The first two capsule for the espresso machine were complimentary. If you wanted more, you could purchase them at the reception.
