The hostel is really nice, well decorated and pleasant. The staff were the best, always friendly helping the guests with everything. Breakfast was very good and worth the price. The rooms as well as the bathroom were very clean and comfortable. The location is great, in the city center, near the tram station, supermarket, bar, restaurant and most of the attractions in the city..

The train station was 20 minutes walking, but was not too bad. Check in was only at 15h.

Perfect location. Helpful, friendly staff. Reasonable overnight rates. Scrupulously clean. Spacious dorms. Pity though about the bunks. They're of the traditional 'metal frame' type. They sort of seemed out of sync with the rest of the hostel. No shelf, no bunk light no modesty curtain. There was a power point but mine didn't work. Nothing wrong Intrinsically with this style of bunk. I felt though that this hostel - great in other respects- might just want to think about upgrading them to the more modern 'pod' style Also, minor point, but I'm a toast lover, please put a toaster in the guest kitchen for those who self cater... It's not as if there's a shortage - there are three to use if you buy the 8eu breakfast buffet (which I did 'cause I crave toast!). All in all though, I'd happily stay again and am very happy to recommend it.

The staff is amazing, the facilities are fun and clean and you feel like you are in college. A great group of travelers.

It’s nice there, but the top bunk I had was rickety and the mattress needs to be turned every so many months. I felt I was going to fall off the bed close to the wall. The cabinet also leaned and make noises. If you come here, bring headphones to listen to smoothing music to fall asleep to. Everyone has their own lock, but the place was safe and no thieves in sight. I couldn’t shower because there was no vacuum to seal my bag up with. The down side is the toilets are filthy because they are unisex. No girl wants to sit on a toilet that makes urinate all over and behind. They were gross. You are not provided towels, so no shower after sweating all day and then the next.

It is a well-centered hostel 5 min away from sea. The rooms are very spacious and the stuff was friendly and helped me to store my luggage while I was waiting for the check-in

The kitchen is small given that it’s a big hostel. That wouldn’t be such a problem if it wasn’t dirty all the time… Such a small kitchen can keep up with the amount of people are staying. Also, you didn’t have inside any basic amenities like salt which is a bit irritating.

The location of hostel is just perfect, close to old town and public transport. It has a common space to chill and you can join some activities organized by staff. The dorm I stayed in had a bathroom in so it was very comfortable, also lockers. I think it provides you basic things for staying at a good value.

This is a great central location. Clean and has a good range of facilities.

The towels were 7€ and you had to buy them, there are also no curtains on the beds.

I think it’s something that isn’t link to the Villa, but just what was projecting the pictures, friendly and place to meet people and cozzy warmth. It wasn’t for my case because plenty of 8-12 years old kids playing ping pong, with old people 40-50’s, mix of diversity (that’s cool though) BUT no one was talking to anyone or just seemed annoyed by environment or people that doesn’t wash their things. So basically, the people aren’t bringing a nice vibe, but it’s not the hostel fault!!! Lockers weren’t working at all in the room, staff didn’t care and were aware. But at least, locker in the basement wich is lovely!

i stayed here for a couple of days on a solo trip to Nice this april. i stayed in a mixed dorm with 6 bunks. the hostel was in a very central area and i was able to walk to quite a few of the places i wanted to go to. it also seems like there are quite a few activities proposed by the team. i didn’t join in as my trip was quite short but i think they looked like fun. the only weird thing about the room was the fact that the windows were really high up (couldn’t see out of them or open them) and there was no light switch in the room for the overhead lights. other than that the hostel itself was clean and had good facilities. i was able to store my bag before check in and after i checked out so that i could move around freely. thank you villa saint exupery! i had a good time

The location is truly amazing. Everything interesting in Nice is in walking distance, the train station is also in a 15 minute walk. The hostel has cool shared spaces, kitchen (stove, sink, refrigerator), computers, space with television where you can watch whatever you want. Also, they offer a bunch of fun activities to do in the city - we signed up for the free walking tour with Matt and the bar crawl which we highly recommend. 10/10 experience, everyone was friendly and overall we had great time staying in this hostel. Nice was our last stop for our backpacking trip around France and we had a lot of fun!

Great hostel in a great location. I was really satisfied with this accomodation. I arrived earlier but I had a chance to have a shower ( it was in August) . The bed was comfortable. The room was clean.

One of the girls at the reception. She was not kind. :( I asked her politely three times to come to the reception and let me give her the key and get the deposit back because my bus is leaving. She said she would go upstairs when she finished her work. This was at 6:45. She opened the reception at 7 and I missed the bus. :)
