The room is a very short walk from the main high street as well as to the sea front. There's a tram stop nearby for connections on to other places and a short walk to the train station.

Breakfast was good. I am not sure what was particularly American about it, but the selection of hot and cold items was very good and the quality was excellent. The room was spacious, very clean and I found the bed to be very comfortable. The room is not sound proofed but the hotel does supply complimentary earplugs in the room along with the usual tea and coffee facilities. For me, it wasn't an issue and I did not need to use the earplugs.

The room needed a little attention. The bathroom door didn't close, but for me on my own this was not an issue. The water temperature in the shower fluctuates from tepid to scolding, possibly depending on whom else on the floor is also using water. Wasn't that much of an issue, you just have to be careful when showering.

The location is perfect for the Old Town and the beach.

The hotel had switched their air conditioning system over for the winter, which meant that the air conditioning unit in the room would heat the room, rather than cool it down if it was switched on. The outdoor temperature was still averaging 23° in October, so maybe they were a bit premature in switching from cool air. Very comfortable room, and well equipped, but a bit too warm.

Friendliest staff we met all trip. Beds and pillows were very comfy. Super convenient location. Just a short walk to the beach, train station, and tram lines. Free bag storage after check-out for if you have a late train/flight. Shower pressure and hot water supply was excellent.

The walls seemed a bit thin as we could hear our neighbours talking sometimes. The bathroom was quite small and felt a bit cramped.

The location was really great - close to the old town and promenade but not so close that the noise would bother. Literally everything was within walking distance for us. There are 2 rather large shops for Southern Europe very close and the perfect fresh breakfast cafe (La popote d'Ondine Blacas). The price was really affordable when thinking about high season prices in Nice. The staff was helpful.

There was a kettle in the room to make coffee in the morning but the house cleaning didnt restock with instant coffee packages. We had to ask for them every morning ourselves. Sadly there was no iron in the room - its not listed in the fascilities that we only noticed later. We had an expectation that there is one.

Location is absolutely excellent, a short safe walk into old town and the beach. Room was cleaned and towels refreshed daily. Will stay here again on future trips to Nice. Check hotel rates on their own website before using booking dot com… wish we had…

There wasn’t anything to dislike. It’s not the Ritz, but typical of a friendly inner city hotel.

Breakfast was great, location very convenient, only 3-5 minutes away from direct train line to Nice Airport (from Terminal 2 -to Durandy (to Port Lympia direction))- you are at the heart of the city and you don't need any transport once you get the hotel. And the staff were very helpful, the lady at the breakfast room soo lovely and at the reception. Thank you so much.

The carpet at the room and the curtain were dirty but other parts of the room were clean.

Lovely staff. Upgraded our room as well. Size of the room was great, and for the value I couldn’t complain at all. Location was great, a 8 min walk from Old Town, but also there was loads of stuff around the hotel.

Sound outside was slightly annoying, but I was aware of this before booking, and they provided ear plugs in the room which was a nice touch. We spent most of our time out in Nice, so we really just needed somewhere to stay and this ticked all the boxes.

Friendly staff, excellent location and the small touches in the room like complimentary water, can of Coke, ear buds, coffee and crisps. It’s the little things that go a long way.

The roof was fine but the hotel could do with a lick of paint inside in some areas, and the doors to our room were dated, they don’t really tie in with the nice rooms.

Near the trams stations as 1 as 2 and city center and promenade are near. The light breakfast with ham, cheese and coffee with cakes.

The room was dark and the toilet room is very small
