The best hostel ever! Everytime I stay in Open House, it is such an enriching and unforgettable experience thanks to the genuine kindness, dedication and care of the owner and the personnel, warm, welcoming atmosphere, beautiful decorations, best location close to everything, impeccable cleaniness and the unique opportunity to share and exchange ideas with travellers from all over the world, making new friends from all cultures, which is greatly enriching and recharging. The hostel is managed with heart and you feel instantly welcome and cared for, as a part of a big family. I wholeheartedly recommend staying here, 10/10, it's a fantastic experience, the best place to stay in Nice! :)

Very strategic location as it is very close to the Promenade des Anglais (the main beach in Nice), Place Massena, and also within a comfortable walking distance to the Nice-Ville train station. Connections develop quickly and the staff is very welcoming and friendly. The bed is quite comfortable and the bathroom, though small, is comfortable. Plus, the hostel provide some beach equipment (beach umbrella, chair, mat) that you can borrow and take to the Beach for free. Truly one of the best hostel in Nice

Location is excellent - so close to bus stops and tramway! Walking distance to many landmarks in town

Some insects cripping in the kitchen and bathroom..the kitchen area is too small for everyone while the fridge also is not enough for foodstuff of guests! A second fridge will be useful and Electric fans in the rooms in the absence of airconditioners will be an added value to the guests

This hostel made my trip! Location is great. Compared to other places ive been it has a very friendly atmosphere. Everyone hangs out together and connections form quick. The manager is super nice, caring and very fair and the rooms are what you would expect from a hostel at this price. Only downside i had was it was really hot and no AC. But it seems to be that way all over nice so i cannot hold it against them. If i ever come back to the area this is where i will stay

The bathrooms would get reallyyyy hot and humid after showers because of no windows but it wasn’t a big problem

The hostel is in a perfect location and really nice people are running it! It felt like a home, you could always come back to after a long day outside, exploring Nizze and the region. I came there twice already and the employees Scott and Luke were an amazing duo to spend time with until the late evening hours! In this family-like hostel home every evening big groups of people from all over the world gathered and went out together to the beach, bars or dancing! Nice experience! 10/10! Will come again!

Of course it was small, but the rooms made the best out of the small space you had in them! Please don't close the kitchen after 10 pm. to have a place to hang out in the hostel! :)

good location, every room has its own shower and toilet, had the best time and met a lot of lovely people, staff is amazing but i especially loved Ben<3

bunch of bugs in the kitchen, no ac so it was sooo hot in the room, beds are unstable and shake whenever you turn around:/

I went here alone for a few days as part of a Longer trip. The staff was amazing, and the hostel itself, despite not being that big, was well organised and clean. The position is great, just 5 mins away from Place Massena. Also met some incredible people.

There are fans available when it's too hot. Free kitchen and fridge.

There was no enough locker for me, so I was a little concerned.

Open house hostel is a really really simple hostel, but they will offer you everything they have!! Everyone is super friendly, you can always ask for stuff (I got a second planket) or just ask for advice for a City Trip. Its an amazing and almost familiar Atmosphare. In the Kitchen, you have everything you need for cooking, also tea and coffee :) Location is perfect, close to the ocean as well. Would sleep there again! Merci beaucoup ;)

The beds are a little bit old and make some noise when you climp up, but If you dont care about that, then everything is fine ;)
