This was my second stay at the Cooper Hotel. It is a wonderful property located in an upscale neighborhood just outside of Dallas. The hotel is more reasonably priced than the downtown hotels , there is no extra charge for parking and no concern about your car while it is parked. There are many nice restaurant choices within a 10-12 minute drive. The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. They also have smart TVs that allow you to stream your own accounts. The staff is helpful and accommodating.

The bedrooms are quiet and the walls are obviously well insulated. However, in the bathrooms you can hear any conversation going on in the bathroom next door through the HVAC vent. Since this did not disrupt my sleep, it was not an issue. Just a bit weird in the bathroom.

This hotel is in its own little fenced off community and it has a beautiful pond and lovely trail to walk on around the entire hotel. There's a cool gym and some pools you can use as well. Free parking is a big plus. I personally liked the tvs they used in the room because it has netflix and YouTube built into it, and they can swivel to face the bed you sleep in so you can comfortably watch it while in bed.

They have a restaurant by the gym and we didn't really like the food but that's not really the restaurants fault it's just the type of food they served is not what we're used to.

Comfortable spacious rooms; easy and safe parking; free use of swimming pools, walking trail, etc., in a park-like setting. We stayed several times and had different rooms - all with unique aspects. Great location with easy access. There is only a small coffee shop for breakfast and lunch - though that was OK, as we had our meals outside the property. If you take care of yourself, then you will be quite at home.

Do not expect hotel standard service at reception or in general. The room lighting is a bit dark, but well maintained. Coopers (the originator of aerobics) is primarily a health and wellness centre, and the rooms seem to be an add-on to serve those participating in their programmes. However if you are an independent traveller, you can also stay here happily.

We were given a free upgrade to a King Suite, which was awesome! The front desk lady when we arrived around 8:30 pm was so kind and helpful, as was the young man who was there when we checked out. The suite was beautiful, with nice furnishings and so clean. Our suite had 2 small balconies with French doors, a huge walk-in closet with a safe and a bathrobe (only one), a large living room, and the bed was one of the most comfortable we’ve slept in, with Italian sheets that were so luxurious. BEAUTIFUL grounds with shaded walking trails, and my husband LOVED the fitness center which includes “life-changing” (his words) massage chairs.

The ONLY negative was the placement of the toilet paper next to the toilet. There is no wall next to the toilet, so the toilet paper is mounted on the wall BEHIND the toilet, which forces one to reach behind while sitting on the toilet. AWKWARD.

The property had everything you needed onsite - gift shop, two pools, exceptional fitness center, spa with massage and facial options, meeting rooms, walking/running trails and healthy options at onsite dining. In addition, the rooms were spacious, mix of transitional modern decor, and exceptionally quiet. Bonus - ability to schedule an appointment for a full preventive physical exam. This is a gem - will definitely stay again.

The rate we received was excellent considering how nice our room was. It was large, spacious, and comfortable. It didn't look or feel like your typical hotel room. The bed was the most comfortable hotel bed we ever stayed in, and the water pressure in the shower was fantastic. Moreover, the location of the hotel was central to everything we wanted to visit in North Dallas. It's close the Galleria there are great dining options nearby. We would definitely visit this location again.

The property was not very well lit. We arrived at night, and the street was dark and there were no visible signs or street lamps. Our GPS told us we were in the right place, but we couldn't figure out where to turn in. We finally found a parking entrance, and after circling the lot we found the entrance to the lobby. The check-in process was quick, but the hotel itself has the sickly sweet scent all throughout. That was a huge turnoff for me.

We loved this place! There's an outdoor walking trail which we took advantage of.. there's a very nice, large fitness center on site which is included with the room. Two large olympic size swimming pools on site. Our room (235) was very clean, spacious and comfortable. The grounds are patrolled by security.. we felt quite safe. Check-in was painless and courteous. It's quiet and peaceful right in the midst of busy Dallas.. but not far from interesting places in the area. We will stay here again. I don't know if we got a deal because it was early January when we stayed but the price was a great value for us.

It would have been nice to have a hot breakfast available earlier than 8 am.

We loved the facility and location. It was so nice to be in a space that was quiet as well. The rooms were very spacious too.

The stay was over Thanksgiving and because it’s not a chain hotel the services were not available to us for the majority of our stay. No cafe for breakfast three out of four days. The fitness was open but the front desk was basic because of the holiday.

Very convenient location. Great property

We arrived at 00:10 and though we put the exact address into our maps, we arrived at a locked gate. After a long flight, it was frustrating to find the correct entrance to the complex that was the only one open at that hour. A sign would have been really helpful.

I liked the traditional and timeless look and style of the hotel.

There were large crumbs and debris left on the carpet in the room corners and by baseboards. My main concern was my one year old putting these pea size particles in his mouth thinking it was food for him to eat. They seemed like food particles left by previous guests. Maybe just a more through vacuum through the room would have remedied this.
