Its location right next to the Willis tower makes it the perfect starting point for exploring the city. On walking or Divvy (biking) distance from the river, Millennium Park, Union Station, the West Loop and other hotspots. A lot of windows made the room very light and a pleasant place to stay. The blinds do a great job keeping that light out at night.
The rooftop bar is mostly inside and can be very loud and chaotic. The TV could use a bit more mainstream streaming apps, it currently has only Netflix & YouTube and some lesser known apps but missing others like Prime or D+. Oh and not all elevators go to all floors, so double check before entering.

Well I don’t want to encourage more people to come (kidding) because I liked it sooo much. Why? It’s so close to Amtrak it’s totally easy getting there. It is also off of major thruway. Next it is clean and easy to figure out. It’s easy to check in. The elevators are a bit confusing, though. Ok next you want quiet, you want to sleep — this is the place. It’s great. Next: you’ve travelled all day, like from Denver on Amtrak, so you want a good dinner from a “different” kind of restaurant, but you don’t want to leave the area. Well, just get in the elevator and go to floor 16 and go to Seville. Go out on the roof right next to the Sears Tower (ok ok Willis, I’m 76) and enjoy lake breezes, great cocktails, and outstanding different Mediterranean / Spanish food. Ok now I’ve said it, now you’re going to go on this recommendation, and next time I want to go it’ll be booked up because you read this. Never should have written this 🤣
Elevators confusing.

Location was very convenient for us, being a short walk from the station, which was why we chose it. Hotel was comfortable, with a good-sized, up-to-date room. Left luggage facility was exceptionally useful, as was early check-in and late check-out.
There was a bedside table on only one side of one of the double-beds. (Can't remember about the other one.) A kettle would have suited us better than a one-cup coffee maker and the light in the main room was rather dim but both things seem to be standard in all accommodation so it's a very minor point.

Breakfast was great and all the staff members were professional and personable. Because I traveled using the Union Station, the hotel was a really convenient location as it was only a 6 minute walk~
The remote for the TV didn't work well. It would work and then just freeze, same for the TV. Certain channels would play and then freeze before going into a black screen. I'm not sure if it was the batteries or what but it was weird. Even though on all the signs of the building, it says that checkout is 12pm, I was informed from an employee that it's actually 11am. On their site, there's no check-in or check-out time posted anywhere.

The service from the staff was impeccable. They were friendly, helpful, and made us feel welcome. We had an easy check-in, and staff accommodated our luggage storage when needed. A great location for easy downtown access and CTA trains.
The room was quiet, comfortable, and mostly clean - but there were small details like greasy handprints on the window that weren't deal breakers, just sort of overlooked small things that give the ick.

I love staying here while I’m in town for the weekend. It’s so close to the Amtrak station and other downtown attractions. I rarely ever half to call an uber unless I’m going somewhere farther than a 25/30 minute walk. The service is always great and I love that they hold your luggage if you have train leaving later in the day, or get there earlier than checkin.

Front desk attendant Andrew (Drew) was outstanding. Very professional and courteous. He appears ready for new challenges at this property or other Hilton brands. A strong asset for this hotel. I liked having a recycle bin in the room. Location was great. Coffee was excellent downstairs. Buffet food attendant on the morning of the 7th of September was very good.
RM 322 is slowly acquiring soap and mildew buildup a few inches above the shower floor pan surfaces at the seam for the wall surface. This was very minor and is simply not easily seen by average daily cleaning. Only reported because I noticed it. The room cleanliness and material condition were excellent overall. Breakfast might be a bit pricey, but anticipated in this area.

centrally located, room was smaller but cozy had everything you needed, clean except for the window, they also were able to store my luggage before check in which is cool as well. I think most city hotels offer that. Also front desk staff were super nice and friendly!
the view really wasn't anything, I had a landmark view room although literally right next to the sears tower it was nothing special but still was okay.

The staff were so nice! This was our first visit to Chicago, and it was totally perfect! We took Amtrak in, and this hotel is so centrally located we walked everywhere. Our view of Willis Tower was really cool too!
I really loved everything about our stay! One thing that surprised me a bit was that I was charged $55 more than Booking.com said the grand total would be, but that seems more like a Booking.com issue than the hotel.

The location is great if you take the Amtrak to Chicago. It's an easy walk from Union Station. In fact, we walked to many attractions from the hotel including Millennium Park, Navy Pier, Shedd Aquarium, Field Museum, and the Art Institute. The neighborhood had many restaurants and public transportation stops. The room was comfortable and large and we slept well.
I thought the breakfast was overpriced but probably in line with similar offerings in the neighborhood. The room a couple of quirks. The bed was built in and not centered between the night stands. The mattress was right against the night stand on one side. The fitted sheet did not fit the mattress and kept popping off at the foot. The TV was streaming only and you have to use your own log in for Netflix, etc.
