We loved the hotel, its position right on the beautiful beach of Albena. Breakfast was great but they did not cook fresh omelette, which is normally done in such places. Wide variety of products, good juices, nice fruits, etc. Room was large enough has sea view with great place on the balcony.

The service especially for a la carte restaurants. They were in a hurry, a blond ponytail lady was pushing us to order food but drinks also, which is not so nice. The towel policy was a but strange they were starting late and sometimes towels were not available in the reception. The housekeeping did not change our sheets for 5 days w=even though we requested that. they changed towels though.

Food - fantastic selection both at breakfast and dinner. Food was fresh, a lot of choices and varied every day. I read a few not so good reviews where visitors were complaining about a lack of choice and I really can’t understand why. For me, the quality of food and the selection were superb! Location - right on the (very big) beach, so never felt crowded and we could find a seat even on a busy day. Beach was clean, sea was warm, lovely and shallow enough to feel safe with a child (but still perfectly well able to swim). Facilities - everything was clean and up to 5* standard. Rooms were quiet and insulated, we couldn’t hear any noise from inside or outside (and we were facing the front/swimming pools). Indoor swimming pool was warm and lovely. In my view this was the best hotel in the area and I’d highly recommend for families with kids of any age.

I was a bit surprised that drinks were not included in half board dinner (apart from water) and the outdoor pools could have been a bit more heated, but other than that, really nothing to dislike.

Beautiful view! Large room. Very large bathroom with shower and separated a bath tube, 2 sinks, clean towels. Larga balcony. Coffee maker and water heater available with a selection of coffee and tea. Large beds with clean sheets. Air conditioner. 2 TV sets - 1 in the room and a smaller one in the bathroom. The minibar was free The restaurant large and clean and very tasteful and diverse food(including vegan or diet food) . Plenty of sweets and the best Gallia Melon ever tasted. You could not have lunch in the main restaurant, but there was a restaurant a la carte, with very good dishes. The drinks were not included, but water and tea and juice(only at breakfast). Pools were good(2 for children, 1 for adults). Beach access was possible. First two rows extra costs., from third road they were free(a hotel and a room were to be provided). Very close to the beach. Free spa and gym. We liked it here. Very good for family with plenty activities in the evening and very friendly and helpful staff. Parking available, and costs 20 Leva(BGN) for 24 hours (18:00 is the end of each day).

A single problem. We had some minutes without electricity(the entire area I believe). This is always unpleasant. But the water was still running and it was still warm. So, anything else, not available. It was quickly solved, but unpleasant until that moment.

Nice hotel, good room, good size, clean, smartly designed. Very comfortable beds and pillows. Breakfast was great. Big bathroom, both bathtub and shower, 2 sinks in the bathroom. Nice pools, but not heated.

Very geared towards children, nothing for adults, no game room, no entertainment for adults, nothing. Also has an aqua park in front of hotel, so not quiet during the day. Reception was awkward as it is sitting, took quite a bit to get checked in, when checking out we were not asked about parking so we had to come back and pay it.

The hotel is great. Everything is well thought and done. Great location, beach, service... everything.

The restaurant, however, is not that good. Breakfast is fine, but dinner is a problem. Although dinner is also buffet, and food is OK, there is nothing to drink, not even water. You have to struggle to get someone's attention to order something, be it water or wine. By the time you have the drink, you either finished your plate, or is cold. Then again, another 15-20 minutes until someone comes and you can pay. Management and some personnel clearly favor a certain category of guests and give preferential treatment, so you get the feeling you are not treated fairly. There are better managed restaurants in 3 and 4 star hotels.

We LOVED our hotel! Nicest in Albena. Gorgeously updated/decorated - lobby is huge - rooms are huge - amazing views & facility! Staff is so friendly and helpful - especially the breakfast buffet staff…they were eager to get us coffee and keep up with/our finished plates. Food was great and huge assortment! The area around Albena is super safe and family friendly - lots of families with young children and retirees. We loved everything about our stay!!! 10/10!!!

Nothing! It was perfect!

Frontline access to arguably the best beach in the north part of Bulgaria. Food in the restaurant was very good and definitely worth the price especially if you compare it to the prices in restaurants in Albena. You can try some of the traditional Bulgarian cuisine and I would say it was quite well prepared. The staff was friendly and helpful. We had an issue with the parking in Albena and the hotel staff helped us resolve it without hesitation. The pool area seemed nice although we spent the majority of time on the beach. The pool bar served quite good pizzas and drinks. The hotel is kid and family friendly. There is a playground for the small ones, the aquapark in the pool area is fun for them and there are some entertainment programs included. The rooms are really spacious and allow to spend some time inside if the weather is bad. Our relatives were staying in some of the other hotels and after visiting and comparing them to Maritim, I think Maritim was definitely the better stay.

Wear and tear in the hotel was visible. Cleanliness was lower than what I would expect from a 5 star hotel for this price tag. In general the price seems quite high but my general impression is that prices in Albena are quite high anyways. Sunbed towel reservation problem persists even though the Albena municipality came up with some general approach to resolve it. First and second line sunbeds were not free for any of the hotels in Albena, which only managed to cause an early morning race for third line sunbeds. So yeah if you want to stay close to the sea prepare to wake up early. No control was imposed by the beach staff although there were many signs that it's forbidden to reserve your sunbed.

The location, the amenities, the staff, the food, the pools - all are great. Clean, nice, new and welcoming. We had the private pool room - and it was just the best.

THERE IS NO FREE PARKING - even if you choose to pay it extra, even if it is written here on booking that you get good wifi and parking with your suite with private pool - forget it. NO FREE PARKING.

Good location, beachfront in the middle of Albena. Well furnished rooms. Nice pool and spa. Overall, good value for money.

Personnel kept barging in the rooms multiple times per day while we were inside. Most breakfast products were of relatively poor quality. There was absolutely no flexibility for late check out, despite requesting this (one extra hour, so we have time to enjoy the spa) on a Monday when the hotel was relatively empty.

The location of the hotel is excellent. The rooms are nice and new. The hotel has clean pools including inside mineral pool which is great.

The whole Albena complex car parking taxes are way too high, 20 lv per day is not really acceptable. What's more most of the tourists come with a bus, so parking lots are not full, so it makes this tax even more frustrating. Also the policy of the whole Albena complex for the first two lines with umbrellas on the beach to be paid is not good, especially when you are with a kids and pay for quite expensive hotel.
