We traveled to Trondheim during weekend, and we considered to stay airbnb due to cheaper price than hotel. But we wanted to stay in the middle of the town and it was the best choice. Even though it was in the middle of the city, it even had a parking lot. We walked around downtown and the outskirts without worrying about vehicles and it was quite satisfying. The breakfast buffet was excellent and very satisfying too. I Needless to say, the location is great, and I highly recommend this hotel.

The only inconvenience this hotel was that the sofa bed was so loud that I couldn't get a good night's sleep. I wish I had a solution here.

Despite the average rating of the hotel, it was actually very good- comfortable bed, enough pillows on bed /I did not need to go and ask for additional pillows/, plenty of sockets in the rooom, good location, very good breakfast. The best thing was the espresso machine with plenty of espresso capsules- the best coffee I had in a hotel in Trondheim so far.

The room was on the last floor and it was a bit noisy due to some vents in the corridor outside the room but nothing too bad, I was too tired to pay attention to the noise.

The staff was very attentive and nice. We also liked the room and the corridors design. The beds were comfy. Everything was spotless and working well. Delicious breakfast!

The room could've been just a tiny bit larger. Also, there's no lounge in the lobby and no restaurant on the premises. Although, there are plenty of eateries around the hotel. It's the city's most central spot after all.

Check in was no problem. Filled up a form, got handed the keycards, and right in to the elevator we went. I requested to get a room on one of the higher floors and we got one on the top floor! We paid for the cheapest possible price, and the room was bigger than I expected. The floors are SOLID in the room we were in. I don't know why I wanted to point that out but I recall I did either a hop or a stomp, and nothing. Just felt like I was standing on a gigantic slab of this heavy and solid cement... on the top floor! There is a small refrigerator and a water heater with a small selection of tea, coffee, sugar and creamers. You can cast your own entertainment on the TV (which was relatively easy to connect to) or just watch the local and international channels if you fancy that. THE BREAKFAST THOUGH. It's an absolute best. The reason why we chose this hotel over other same price range hotels is because the breakfast was best rated of the bunch and I can attest to that. The breakfast is indeed as good as they say. There is SO much to choose from. My partner and I will forever praise the "kladdkake" they have there. The small sausages would be my favorite savoury item, the taste of them is so good. Check out was not a problem either. Gave them our keycards, got asked if we wanted a receipt and voila, done! The staff were great. They said hi everytime we were in the lobby.

Not that it was a problem for our partner and I, but if you want to stay at the top floor (7th floor), elevator is only accessible to the 6th floor and then you'd have to take the stairs to get to the top. Could be good to know if you rely on the elevator. As for the hotel room, you can't fully open the windows which was a little bit of a disadvantage as I don't want to see my own reflection/light reflection while recording videos of the view. I'm a short person, but I've bumped into the diagonal wall/ceiling a number of times when trying to get into bed. But it's just a matter of moving the bed a bit farther away during the stay.

Right in the centre of Trondheim which was perfect as we were on a road trip and used it as an overnight pit stop for a chance to look around. Good service good rooms. Parking is paid at the local shopping centre but well directed directions from car park to hotel

Good central location and walking distance everywhere, including train station. The room on a smaller side but comfy for a single person stay. Good large bed. Good breakfast and plenty of choice.

Everything was as advertised.

it was a very hot day and we couldn’t open the windows but a tiny bit. Our room was on the seventh floor and the elevator goes to the sixth floor. It wasn’t the worst thing, but it was a little strange.

Location!!! Fantastic, right in the heart of town, steps from the main square, restaurants and a shopping mall. Amazing breakfast!! 10 minute taxi ride to cruise pier.

Reception staff could have been a bit more helpful.

Good location. Good breakfast. Staff were great to assist with takeaway breakfast on departure day as was hours before breakfast was served.
