It was wonderful. Beautiful, peaceful view. The charm and character of the property was delightful. Breakfast was extensive and perfect as I ate much ahead of a bike ride to Bormio. I only interacted with the housekeeper but she was great. Though I spoke no Italian, and she little English, we got by and she helped me out a lot!

I did not have a car and my scheduled driver did not show up… I learned it’s not the best place to stay without firm transportation.

A beautiful house, well furnished in an old-fashioned style. Each apartment had a private terace, with gorgeous views over to Lake Lugano. Lovely breakfast on a terrace.

There was a problem with the booking: I had asked for separate beds (a twin room), but my adult son and i were given a double bed. I suggest that something was 'lost in translation'!! Does Booking.com not keep some watch on when translation support is needed? 'Twin room' has got to mean 'two single beds'. We coped with it ...but were left wondering what happened, as the check-in was by 'remote control'...i.e. no-one on site until next morning.

Wow!! I wasn’t expecting the large sized property and you’d probably have the whole place to yourself if you book two or three rooms. The place is clean and homely, and the views from the terrace is AMAZING! the breakfast is laid in the morning and you can help yourself to the buffet. Amazing place and I’d definitely return in future! Handy if you have a car and can move around the lakes.

The access from the car park through the stair is challenging with luggage but manageable. Speak to the owners if you need assistance.

The views were breathtaking. The room was very nice, super cozy. Felt like home. There is a carrefour around 25 minute walk which is convenient. The breakfast was great with good food as you look over the beautiful view of the lake. The lady was very friendly!

If you plan to be at lake como itself it is a bit far if you don’t have a car or a bike. There are some rental places in the centre.

Great value for the price it has! Menaggio is within close proximity by car, check-in instructions were very clear, the room is beautiful with amazing views.

Pillows could be more comfortable and check-out time is a bit early for one night stay, but overall everything else is great.

The location is fantastic! You can enjoy the view while having breakfast, and there are plenty of great restaurants nearby. The apartment has its own unique atmosphere.

It was a bit chilly in the room, so we used the AC for heating. Just to clarify, it's not a private apartment; there's a shared living room.

The view is breathtaking, just amazing. The house is beautiful, with the most spectacular view at breakfast. Very close to Menaggio, just 15 minutes by car. Supermakets very close, by car.

Not necessarily modern, but that shouldn’t be a fault. Just not something we prefer as everything is old. The shower was not the greatest.

This lovely house was by far the best place ever. The host is a charming lady , very gentle and friendly who would help anytime you need. The peace and quiet of the house and the view was the perfect rewarding after of day of sightseeing. I loved it! I’m already making plans to go back there next summer.

Very organized and professionally laid out breakfast with assortment of cheeses and meats, juices, coffee, bread etc. Air Conditioned rooms were a bliss The hosts were very nice.
