The front desk staff was great. We checked in later in day and she was very nice and gave us some good information for our stay and suggested we grab a drink at the rooftop bar before they closed. The old / renovated building itself is beautiful. We loved that they had some breakfast snacks and drinks available - which we had not expected. It was great to have a living/dining/kitchen area - especially the full size fridge and a stove (though we didn't use it). The town is tiny, and everything was walking distance and parking was so easy.

The bathroom needed better cleaning, specifically the shower. It has some mildew around the edges that was quite noticeable. The lights in the closet would not turn on.

I loved the scenery and how everyone including strangers were having a good time. Good food surrounded everywhere. This was my 2nd time staying at this hotel and I love it.

The only thing I disliked well it's really not a dislike just that if you're gonna have stoves to cook on can you guys get trash cans to put in the kitchen and not the small ones because people traveling do bring food to cook.Some people don't eat downtown they rather cook like I did. I had meat packs and nowhere to put in a trashcan to fit. But other than that I loved. But a bigger trashcan for the kitchen is a must if people are bringing food to cook....

Did not get the snack-type breakfast there. Large suite. Wonderful shower. Very friendly staff. Central to the small town of Hartsville. Parking very simple. Good restaurant adjacent. Nice little rooftop bar.

Coffee maker in room did not work, but the staff immediately offered to replace it and I declined. Fairly expensivve for a town as small as Hartsville.

It was a central main hub location for dining and entertainment. They have a nice rooftop bar. Absolutely loved the decor, the suite was immaculate and fully functional for a quick stay or extended stay for business. White fresh crisp sheets with a sleep number adjustable bed that controls your individual comfort. Loved the sweet unique stores and quaint storefronts nearby. They offered free boxed breakfast from 6am - 10am at the Mantissa Hotel or you can go to the Hampton Suite Inn for a warm breakfast which is a block away. Staff were efficient, accommodating and friendly.

You can hear loud voices from the adjacent room. In all fairness, I believe a couple was arguing late at night.

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel room was very large with excellent facilities. Would definitely stay at The Mantissa again as its location is fantastic, the roof top bar is great too.

The only disappoinment was the lack of a decent breakfast. We had the breakfast box which was not great but were informed we could go to a nearby hotel for breakfast. We didn't want to do that.

Rates were a little higher than I wanted being it wasn’t a holiday or major events in the area

I booked the property for a preacher that preached at out church. She said the room was like a beautiful apartment. Staff was so helpful

It felt like a cozy little apartment.

The staff acted as if they didn't want to be bothered. I also did like the limited entry and exit of the building.

I love that the unit has a full kitchen and rooftop bar. The bed was very comfortable. Walkable to restaurants.

The blinds in the room was broken, there wasn’t a shelf in the shower and the rooftop bar only had 1 bartender for a saturday night.

Superb,convient to everything.The restaurant adjacent to the hotel was excellent.The hotel staff very pleasant.

The only thing we're the pillows.They could have been just alittle firmer.
