We absolutely loved our stay at CUBE Rooms for 2 in Ljubljana. Travelling as a family from New Zealand, we booked three rooms and found the entire setup to be superb. The shared bathrooms and kitchens were spotless, modern and maintained to a very high standard… it honestly felt like staying in a boutique hostel. The location along the river was magnificent, within easy walking distance to all the main sights, cafes and attractions. We also appreciated the smooth self check-in and check-out system using door codes — it was incredibly convenient, especially after a long day of travel. The rooms themselves were cosy, quiet, and very well-appointed. It was the perfect mix of comfort, style, and practicality.

Nothing at all — everything exceeded our expectations.

The hotel was just outside the oldtown so easily reachable even from the train station. The breaksfast was very rich including vegan/lactosefree products.

The noise insulation is quite poor and the doors are loud so if you are sleeping lightly you will hear comings and goings of all the guests.

The young lady at the reception of the Art Hotel was very sweet and helpful and even printed me a map to help me find The Cube for 2 Hotel easier. The building of the Cube Hotel was recently renovated and smelled very nice and clean. The kitchen was well equipped and the WC and shower were very clean and there were plenty of paper napkins at all times. The Cube is located in a very peaceful and quiet, yet central location, behind the Building of the Architecture Department of the University. You could walk to the center of the city in 10 minutes.

If there was a reception for a few hours at the Cube Hotel too, it would be even better.

Location was perfect. Nearby bakery was a lifesaver. Excellent value for price. Cleaner was nice and tried to help us out even thought we didn’t speak the same language. Overall room was good temperature. Neighbours were “mostly” quiet. Toilets and floors were clean and warm. Beds were very comfy and spacious.

Shower smelt bad. Someone kept leaving tissue squares on the toilet floor. Accidentally set off electronic safe. Radiator was very slow to turn on. Not sure what bin was for what in kitchen. Timed tap in one bathroom was frustrating and wasted water.

Check-in was at the nearby Art Hotel. The guy at reception was both friendly and efficient. Great start. The Cube was easily found and located in a quiet pedestrianised area of the town. Cube's exterior was immaculate - great kerb appeal. The room was small but functional. Everything was clean (including the shared bathroom), so Housekeeping are doing a great job. The whole property was well laid out and worked well.

A couple of maintenance issues let the place down a bit, namely:- - Wonky toilet seat needing adjustment. - A fresh coat of emulsion in the room is now overdue. - A nail sticking out of the wall (where a shelf used to be ?). None of these spoilt our stay, but could so easily be remedied.

The location is great—within walking distance of all the main sights in Ljubljana. The bed was really comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

The walls are super thin—you can hear everything from the other guests in common areas. The room is just big enough for the bed. A small table and some wall hooks would really help with keeping things organized.

The room was much bigger than expected and in a very ideal location, just a couple of minutes walk from the river. Definitely worth it to spend a bit more and go for the standard room size instead of the small. In general, the kitchen area was relatively well equipped and clean. There were enough bathrooms and the facilities were very clean.

Location is great - very close to city center, but calm and quite, like in a small village :) Comfy beds, clean, warm - heating is powerful! We had a small issue with self check-in as we didn’t realize the keybox was inside 😀 so we called the property and they were super friendly and helpful and came over in max 10 mins to assist. We had a breakfast offered at Art hotel (saw an ad inside the room) - was really good! Only good impressions, thanks a lot!

It was located close to the main centre for tourist attractions, which is what we were interested in and there for! It was easy to access the room and front door with the codes provided. Overall a very enjoyable time.

The bedroom didn't have an air-condition option, we were very hot during the evening and didn't sleep well because of this. The shared shower was flooded and overflowing by the time we went for a shower that evening (9pm onwards), it was fine in the morning however.
