The location is great, right in the center. The staff was lovely, helpful and overall nice. We parked our car on one of the surrounding streets using the easypark application, and would recommend the same to others, as the parking place recommended was a bit more expensive. The spots in front of the hotel are limited, but great if you get one.

I'll start by saying that maybe we arrived in high season, but when it comes to value for money, this hotel is not it. We would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel, to those that are willing to pay for it, or in low season when it is probably less expensive. It is overall a nice place, with great location and friendly staff, but not as good for the high price we paid for one night. The room we had was small, with little natural light, the bed was not as comfortable as we expected, the bathroom sink had using marks - that should not be there for that high price, there was not a coffee machine, nor instant coffee, although there was a kettle. The room didn't really look like in the pictures. When we picked this hotel and paid the price we expected something better.

This is a small hotel with a great location. There’s an amazing La Petit Cafe next to it, we ended having breakfast and dinner there many times. The bus stops are very close, we took a bus to ‘Drama’ from train station and then took a bus from ‘Krizanke’ back to the train station. We always walked to all the main attractions on foot, because it is so close to everything. And the hotel is not on a noisy street. The room was tiny, but enough space for everything (we had three huge suitcases). There was a kettle, safe and great fridge. They gave us two bottles of water each day. The shower gel and body lotion smelled sooo good.

The first night the AC didn’t work and we couldn’t sleep the whole night, it was unbearably hot, we had to open the window to let some air in, but it didn’t help. The AC is located next to the door, not in the main room. The second day it was fixed and it worked perfectly, but the first night we were ready to move out. If you like to wake up late, remember that the cleaning staff will finish their work before 12 and then would go home. The bathroom wasn’t clean enough. The water in the sink didn’t go down, I had to unscrew the plug and there was a huge bunch of stuck hair, I had to clean it all with my hands for a while to let the water go down. It wasn’t a good experience.

Perfect location. Only a few minutes walk from the main points of interest but in a quiet side street not directly on the river. The Sunday flea market, which is a must, is 5 minutes away. Tivoli Park is about 15-20 minutes walk. The room, which was quite large, contained everything required, including things we didn't have in other more expensive hotels, like a cupboard with storage place for clothes (other hotels only had hangers), a shower with a door that closes instead of just a half door which allows the water to splash out onto the floor. The toiletries were of good quality. The bed was comfortable, with a quite soft mattress (maybe not everyone's taste but I liked it). A/C worked fine and the TV had a wide range of channels. Breakfast was very good with a choice of specially prepared to order omelettes with various fillings or hash brownies, various cheeses and salamis, fresh fruit and vegetables, good coffee and more. There is an indoor dining room or if the weather is good you can eat in the vine covered outside courtyard. Staff were helpful and courteous. I would definitely stay here again.

The water pressure in the shower was lower than I would have liked but there was plenty of hot water. The WiFi occasionally disconnected and I had to turn off my phone's WiFi then turn it on again to reconnect, but most of the time worked fine.

Great location, friendly and helpful staff. The hotel had its own videos with ideas of sites to visit along with useful information. We appreciated the fact that it has a long history and started as a family business. Breakfast was really nice, some good warm dish options prepared. Parking in front was busy and we had to park in the street. Receptionist suggested a very useful app that we used to pay for the municipal parking.

The hotel was very clean, in a fantastic location with nearby parking, and Artie (sp?) gave us great dinner recommendations. Definitely go to Brec for dinner if you get a chance. The staff there is wonderful as well and food is great.

The shower is small and the room was warm even though we ran the a/c. Also, one of the charging outlets on the nightstand was not working and there is only one mirror so it is difficult for two people to get ready at the same time.

Rude woman at the reception, without a smile and with communication that shows disrespect and impoliteness. She must be a member of the family because there are a lot of complaints about her, and she still works in the most important place, which is communication with guests. In the morning at check-out, we were really happy that there was a gentleman with his hair in a ponytail, who kindly allowed us to leave the car in the parking lot for another hour or two.

A cosy hotel in the very center of Ljubljana, close to all tourist attraction and the promenade. The room was very clean, and the bed comfortable. We loved the breakfast! Very tasty food and freshly prepared eggs and pancakes. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Will definetely come again!

There are only a couple of parking spaces, so make sure to reserve one before your trip. We missed this information on the hotel's Booking site.

The location of the hotel is excellent, it’s only a few minutes walk to the center of Ljubljana. The rooms are clean, the bed is comfortable. Breakfast is excellent!

The hotel has only 5 private parking spaces, and if you want one of them, you need to reserve it in advance. A 3-minute walk away, there is the Šumi parking lot (daily ticket €32 :/ ) or the Kongresni trg parking lot.

Perfect location. In old town while still being on a road that allows for taxis to pick-up/drop-off right in front of the hotel since most of old town is pedestrian-only streets.

Breakfast is limited. You're only allowed to order 1 item from the hot menu which I thought was a bit strange (i.e. when I ordered eggs I wasn't allowed to also order hasbrowns or sausage).

The hotel is located near the city centre in a walkable distance to all the must-sees in Ljubljana. It has parking spots for guests which are payed separately and should be reserved in advance, but it is still very convenient if you are travelling by car. The staff was very welcoming and nice to us. The hotel room was clean and had all the things one would need. We didn’t have breakfast, as we were staying for only one night and had to go early on the next day, but as far as I know it should be very rich and foremost - delicious. I would definitely recommend a stay at hotel “Mrak”!
