- The staff were incredible throughout my stay Friendly and super knowledgeable Special thanks to ALISA, ALI and STAŠ and the gentleman at the concierge desk (so sorry I didn’t get your name) - LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION Literally 2min walking distance to the old town and most touristy spots. The castle funicular, all the bridges, the local morning fruit/veg market. - Lots of restaurants close by on the riverside - Hair salon and Thai massage place close to hotel super affordable. - Mercator supermarket just behind hotel - Breakfast was great. Lots of options. Definitely have some ajvar (red pepper dip) with your breakfast. - Main train and bus station close by. - Hotel arranged private car transfers - Some taxis available in front of hotel

Location was perfect. Maybe 400 m walk from historic centre and river. Breakfast was standard fare . We had executive room which was comfortable . Staff was the best ,especially 2 young receptionist girls : Milica and Gentiana .

Peak season Aug 17th -21st Aug 2025 The hospitality of the staff, nothing was too much. I enjoyed the space and balcony in the rooms. The swimming pool/sauna was not overcrowded and superbly managed with a balcony and amazing views of the castle. I absolutely loved the breakfast, so much choice to choose from. I appreciated my breakfast lunch box when we had an early flight. The piano in the hall downstairs is an amazing attraction, and I'm happy because my daughter can play. They allowed my daughter to play the piano. Above all, we felt relaxed, comfortable, and fantastic location for everything, buses, escape room, tours, trains, bars, restaurants, bikes, canals and shops. Just everything

This hotel is a fantastic choice for anyone looking to explore the city. The location is absolutely ideal, with a wide variety of shops and restaurants right on the doorstep. Being just steps away from the old town and the river made it incredibly easy to soak up the local atmosphere and enjoy the sights. The room was clean and well-maintained, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable – ensuring a great night's sleep. Breakfast was a definite highlight, offering a wide array of delicious options to suit all tastes. What truly stood out was the exceptional service. The staff were friendly, helpful, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure we had a pleasant stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area!

The hotel was very central with good links to the train station and transport hub. Situated near the Old Town all the main attractions were within walking distance. The Staff were friendly and proactive in their approach. A big thanks to Ali at reception for organising our trip to Lake Bled and also to the concierge for helping mark a very special birthday. The Breakfast was good and there was plenty to choose from the menu. Overall a good 4* which I would highly recommend to others.

There was limited bar facilities however there were many restaurants and bars in the vicinity.

Great location within a couple minutes walk of the river. Reception staff super friendly and helpful. Big breakfast area with quite a good variety of food and beverages. Bedside plug sockets which are always great. Kettle in room for making tea and coffee.. WiFi strength was quite good for a big hotel and air con was slso good Shower and bathroom size good. Towels changed every day. Check out time of 12pm was excellent . Spa facilities also available here if you book in.

Can't really think of anything worthy of note on a negative side for this hotel. The view from the balcony prob wasn't the best with it being inwards facing but that's about it. I thought this hotel was excellent value for money and would definitely book in here again.

The breakfast was great with plenty of choice. The hotel was also conveniently located close to a small supermarket and to bars , restaurants and tourist attractions in the City centre . The actual hotel design was nice with rooms running in a circular pattern rather than along narrow corridors. The temperature in my room was also just right and no adjustment was needed. The staff were also always helpful.

The TV had poor reception on some channels and also there was lack of choice for English speaking people with only one channel available being Bloomberg. The soap and shampoo containers in bathroom look cheap and were fiddly to use. The curtains are mismatched on windows . Two different colours and one short and one long . The short one is so that it does not go over radiator . However, this allows a little light to come into the room in morning.

Fantastic location right in old town centre with secure parking. Nice heated pool and sauna on covered rooftop free for 2 hrs for guests (although I think should be unlimited…but only a certain number of people allowed at a time so must book) . Upgraded to a recently renovated (sparse “Swedish” style)room with a standing balcony. Standard buffet breakfast. Clean and modern. Helpful staff.

The cafe (fancy)was in the attached “upmarket” part of hotel around corner…be nice to have even just a takeaway coffee near reception. …no big deal, just smokers who like to have a cigarette with coffee. Plenty of 5 min walk away options though!

Excellent breakfast choices. Very central. Helpful staff. The building had interesting architecture. A big thank you to the surprise cake for our daughter’s birthday, a really lovely touch. The modern rooms were very comfortable.

The gym was very disappointing. It was very old fashioned and the equipment was minimal. We booked this hotel because of the fitness centre and we were shocked at the level of equipment offered. Some rooms were a little dated, others were lovely and modern. ( we had one of each)

The localisation of the hotel in the very centre of the historic district is a valuable characteristic! I also profoundly appreciate the spa and wellness facilities which are really valuable after a long and harassing day of work! Just one thing: the opening hours and availability of the wellness and spa area could be spread and enlarged until 22h30!! I am travelling all around Europe and 21h00 for the closing of the spa and wellness area is really early. Above all if you consider business trips with long meetings and time to still grab something to eat for dinner!!
