Searching for a place to celebrate our 10th anniversary of marriage , we discovered this superb hotel with restaurant . The hotel is a very well restored historical building with a medieval feeling. It is situated in a quiet area, 5 minutes walking from the C Metro line. From there to the city center is 20 minutes. The work that Miroslav , the owner , and his team are doing is amazing ,the stuff is really professional , proactive , always ready to help. No need to say that we enjoyed 5 days of very good food , breakfast and dinner , and of course the local beer , Pilsner Urquell. I can only highly recommend this location , thx for all !

Amazing family, two room combined accommodation. Worked perfectly for family with two children, set up a playpen in a small room with a double bed that was perfect for them. Gave enough room for the children to have a little play area inside the room as well. Outside they have a playground for the children off the restaurant. The staff is amazing, so helpful with any needs. Breakfasts are outstanding, everything perfect. Restaurant attached to the hotel for dinner is so delicious, we ate 3 of our 5 meals there!

Such a stunning building with lots of attention to detail with the decorations (especially for Christmas). The highlight of the hotel is the restaurant and the staff! Spotless service, delicious local high quality food & excellent breakfast! They offered us a generous take out breakfast because we needed to leave early one morning. We left in awe by our stay and the perfect organisation of the owners who went beyond our expectations to make us feel welcomed and appreciated - we will not even consider going elsewhere, despite the city centre being 35-45mins away.

We had a very enjoyable stay! The furniture in the room had an older style, but everything was well-refurbished and added a touch of charm. The breakfast was served in a beautifully gothic style restaurant that made each morning feel special. The atmosphere and attention to detail really made for a memorable experience. The restaurant has a terrace that can become crowd in the evening but after 11 PM it's closed and quiet. We had a parking lot with a small amount of fee and the underground station was 5 minutes walk. It was a pleasure meeting the host, and we highly recommend him and his family-run hotel.

This property is fantastic. It has everything you could wish for. An excellent restaurant, beautifully decorated, excellent staff. I would recommend this to anyone looking for an amazing stay. Close to a metro station, less than a 10 minute walk. The most wonderful thing about Hotel Svatojánský Dvůr is the way they make you feel so welcome, and almost as you are part of their family. I will be happy to come back again and again to this special place.

This is a gem of a hotel - family run together with the adjoining restaurant which is obviously first choice for an evening out for many locals. Great personal welcome from the owner who was around and available together with his parents throughout our stay. Superb breakfast and a great meal on the first evening when we ate there. Individually decorated rooms - lots of nice touches. Situated in a quiet and pleasant up-market Prague suburb - 10 minute walk to the metro and 10 minutes direct from there in to the centre.

Nothing - we will be back next time we are in Prague where we regularly visit.

The hospitality of the hotel is amazing. The owner is super friendly and took us for a tour and explained with much passion about the hotel and the renovations they did. Its truly a unique place in Praque. Close to the metro which takes you in 15min to the city center. The room was clean and beautifully decorated. The mini bar was not expensive at all and free sparkling water and still water was available at any time. The restaurant had very good food options even for vegetarians they had options available. The breakfast was good with lots of food options. For us, as one of us is vegetarian, we would have liked it if we could have had a choice what to receive for breakfast, to have less meat on the table. There was enough vegetarian food to eat at breakfast, we just would like the option to have less meat. It's a personal preference. Really just skip the big hotel brands and book this lovely family hotel. You will not be disappointed!

The hotel is beautifully decorated with antiques which the son buys and restores. The bathroom was decorated to a high standard and immaculately clean and the water pressure in the shower was brilliant.

To stand under the shower head you have to be close to the shower tap and I kept accidentally changing the temperature when I bumped against it.

We had a LOVELY stay at Hotel Svatojánský Dvůr. Staff was so friendly, we were welcomed with a free drink. We appreciate the comfort of our suite, it was quiet, big, clean and very practical. The hotel restaurant is excellent, very nice for family, food is delicious and price are reasonnable, we eat there twice. We will come back for sure ! Thank you again for all your small attentions that make our stay wonderful.

The only drawback is the confort of the pillow, but it depends on each one needs. It is a bit far away from the city center but easily reachable with the metro red line (600 meters from the hotel)

The host was super welcoming, the staff friendly and helpful. The breakfast was exceptional, one morning we had to leave before breakfast starts, so we told them beforehand and they prepared us a generous package. The room was clean and the beds very comfortable. The bathroom was newly renovated, the shower had a nuce water pressure. All in all we had an extremly pleasant stay and service and hospitality is the reason why this would be my first option for my next trip to prague
