Helpful staff; the pool was small but clean and families using it when we were there seemed to be having fun! The room was adequate, with air conditioning and TV and en suite shower room. The breakfast was good value for money. Excellent location near the train station, easy to find. There was a secure gated car park with spaces for a number of vehicles and were able to accommodate our pick-up truck, 5.3m long. Good value for money.

The bedroom seemed a little tired, and could do with a bit of a refresh.

The pool and surrounding area is very pretty and clean. Some of the rooms are bright and spacious with two beds but some are a little smaller and there’s also some with no aircon so be sure to request this when you book. Breakfast is typical French fair which is absolutely perfect @€9.50. The staff are very pleasant and friendly. It’s conveniently located next to train station and is about 15 minutes walk to town centre.

It was hard to find as roads had been closed for a fete. Also Sunday night so really closed up and I didnt have any instructions. Saying that the owner sent all to my husbands mobile and everything was sorted.

Quiet even though next to railway station. Secure parking. Clean. Room 29 - enormous bathroom with walk-in shower. The front of house lady was very helpful and accommodating. Centre of town and restaurants are about a 15 minute walk (or 5 minute drive).

Room 29 - unlike other rooms no air conditioning just stand alone fan which didn’t perform very well. Pillows - only two small ones.

Nice staff, secure parking, not too far to walk into Cognac. Cognac is a lovely town to walk round.

Bathroom was a bit dated, room a bit cramped. We were only there for one night so it didn't matter too much. I was surprised to see how close the hotel is to the railway station, but we only heard 1 train, at 7am, so no bother really.

I love this hotel, i travel to cognac for work often and it is clean, comfortable and meets all expectations. The owner is really lovely and makes me feel welcome even with my terrible french he still lets me speak it
