Communication with owner was good prior and on arrival. Quaint room opening onto a courtyard. Bed was low but very comfortable and air-conditioner keep room at a lovely temperature. Access to accommodation via a code made coming and going easy. Lovely area, walking distance to shops and, the reason why I booked it, hypogeum. Peaceful at night. Well worth a stay here.

Unpleasant musky smell when you lie on the bed..near pillows. Difficult to find on arrival but owner was quick to solve this issue. Had European adapter so I couldn't charge my phone throughout stay.

We stayed in this small guesthouse for two nights at the end of our weeklong stay in Malta. It is in a suburb of Valletta very close to the airport. The neighborhood is nice, very local. The guesthouse has been restored by the owner to a high standard. There are several outdoor seating areas including a cute courtyard and a roof terrace. The decor is very ornate and fun, like being in a small castle! Our room had a large bed and spacious bathroom with a great shower. It also had a small private patio by the front door. Very nice owner, who allowed us to use the refrigerator in the lobby. I would recommend this accommodation for an early morning flight. The owner arranged for a 6am taxi and we were at the airport in 5 minutes.

There are no restaurants nearby so you need to plan accordingly if you don't have a car. There are restaurants within about a 15 minute walk and a grocery store about 10 minute walk. A small refrigerator in the room would be nice. The bathroom could use additional lighting.

The host was wonderful and very hospitable. She made us feel very welcome and allowed us to deposit our luggage at the property before check in. She also gave us a map and directions on where to get the bus to Valletta. The property was fantastic but the little alley where it was located wasn't easy to find. I loved the decor, the courtyard and the rooftop terrace. The room that we stayed in within the property itself was beautiful. I wish that we had had more time to spend there to enjoy it's beautiful features.

I liked everything about the property. I personally think it would have been even better if the room had a mini fridge.

Marion! (The Host with the most) Warm, charming, friendly and nothing was too much to ask of her. So helpful with useful information about local area and which bus to catch for wherever you might want to go. Even helped book a taxi. Plus the room and house was gorgeous and well taken care of. Marion has an excellent eye for detail, you can tell by how she how looks after her B & B, and the same goes for how she looks after her guests. Thank you Marion. Also, the location close to the Airport, and buses on the doorstep was also great.

Surprising hidden gem with beautiful and elegant decor. The room was large and comfortable with its own terrace, and the shared courtyard was a lovely shady spot to have breakfast. The owner, Marion, could not have been more welcoming and helpful. The location is ideal, with shops and cafes in easy walking distance, a large free car park 5 minutes walk away, and frequent buses into Valletta from just down the road.

The property was extremely comfortable and clean, the owner was so friendly and helpful and always willing to go above and beyond to help out. Each day we were asked if we needed anything as the owner doesn’t come in the room without permission and this is a rarity and very respectful.

There was nothing to dislike, the stay was 10/10

Nice space, friendly staff. Great location! Close to the airport but also very close to Valletta by Bolt or bus. The lady who runs the place is so sweet and helpful.

Old building problems such as humidity and dampness. If you are sensitive to moldy smells this could be a problem. AC works really well but somehow every time I put it on there was a cigarette smoke smell that came inside.

The Room was excellent and decorated according to Malta's architecture. Marion was very helpful, nice and accommodating. Rooms are clean as well as the entire hotel. There is a bus station nearby to the hotel where you can take buses to many places.

Finding food around the neighbourhood can be challenging. Small fridge in the room will be useful and maybe some maps of the city and bus routes. You will not regret by choosing this Hotel.

An absolutely amazing place to stay in Malta. I travel regularly for work and have stayed in numerous properties in Malta, but this hotel/B&B is incredible. Marion provided a warm and welcoming greeting upon arrival, even though I had arrived late, and showed me to my room and explained everything in detail. The property and rooms look incredible, with the original Maltese architecture and stonework blended with 5 star luxury. I can't begin to explain what a beautiful place this is and the lovely Marion is icing on the cake! Sitting eating a lovely breakfast in the ambience of the internal courtyard this morning was amazing. I will certainly be staying here again if there is availability!

The property is conveniently located 50m from a bus station, in a smaller town, with buses running every 10-15 minutes, wherefrom you can easily get to Valetta or other cities within 15-30 minutes bus ride. There are some pastry shops (recommended) as well as convenience stores and restaurants at walking distance. The property seems newly renovated, with exquisite style, preserving the traditional character of the building with some modern touches - it's a gem already at the entrance, with a small internal yard where food is served and a spacious rooftop terrace. The rooms were very spacious and impeccably clean, offering more value for money than expected or as compared to more centrally located properties. The host Marion was very pleasant and welcoming from the start - she waited for our arrival after a late night flight, prepared us a lovely breakfast and offered advice for getting around Malta and suggested sights to visit relevant to our preferences. Overall, great experience and highly recommended.
