We were in room A1 which had the most fantastic sea view with hammock and bath on the balcony. The room was spacious and comfortable. The staff were unlike any we’ve had before, they were so accommodating, always checking we had everything we needed and went over and above for us. The restaurant staff remembered our favourites and always were so friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious and the views outstanding! The receptionist Teddy, went over and above for us organising taxis and making sure we were ok at all times, he was so personable and a fantastic addition to the hotel.

If you don’t hire and bike or car, it can be hard to get to but the hotel is surrounded by beautiful beaches and away from the business of the centre/full moon parties.

This place is amazing. We ended up extending our stay. If you are after amazing insta photos this is the place for you 😉 We booked a pool side villa and it was perfect The restaurant food it’s really good and not expensive for the quality. The staff are lovely and kind. Housekeeping do a great job too. You wouldn’t give the place a second look from the street. It’s the kind of place that if you know you know as people seem to come to blog and it’s been good fun watching a few influencers do there thing from my patio 😂 The price is really good once you see the place

Absolutely everything

Loved the location, especially how it was connected to the beautuful beach below. The swimming pool was perfect, with amazing views. The staff from the front desk, house keeping to the bar/restaurant were all so lovely. Very friendly and helpful at all times. The restaurant food was the best we had on the island. It could not be matched, and we tried alot of other places. I would recommend a trip for dinner even if you are not guests. Its worth it!! The beds are so so comfy, rooms are spotless and views from this hotel are breathtaking. This was the best hotel I've ever stayed at by far. We had the best time here and we will definitely return.

Just the small amount of construction going on with the steps during our visit but it wasn't much of an inconvenience. Just one of the days it was harder to get to the restaurant but manageable.

We had 2 bungalows - one Garden View one Sea View. They were both at the top of the resort and were difficult enough to find at the start. A few signs within the gardens would be helpful. There are loads of steps within the resort which was fine for us but definitely not suitable for anyone with mobility problems or children in buggies. The pool was nice with lovely views over the beach. The staff in the restaurant were very nice and helpful - same with reception. They will organise scooters, taxis, tours.

The bathroom was a little dated in the bungalows but was clean.

Lovely place with cute bungalows (i stayed in the cheaper ones). Great restaurant and the people who work there are super friendly. Did not spend a lot of time in the pool because there were many kids (which makes sense ofc). Comfy bed with the best pillow I had so far in SE Asia. Location wise this place is great, love Haad Yao beach. Good scooter rental place next to it or in it (not sure if it belongs to the resort).

The water pressure in the shower was very low. But I know this is a common thing in Thailand, it did not bother me that much. And the stairs can be a bit dangerous in the dark. There is space around each step, you have to pay some attention.

The view is phenomenal and easily the best aspect. The pool is excellent but busy and easily runs out of tanning beds. I found that it was best in the early morning. Lastly without a motorbike the location can be a bit limiting as it's not walkable.

I think the beach access should have a boardwalk to get to the sand. I crossed at low tide but when I returned from dinner I couldn't come back the same way as it was dangerous with the tide. I then had to walk along hills to return, which is also dangerous as these don't have a sidewalk. It would be great if they added some bridge at the beach here to cross safely.

We stayed for 4 nights The location is great, very beautiful view from pool side. Our room was garden view and had a good view. Very clean room with good smell. House keeping cleaned the room daily and changed the towels . The room is a bit old now and could use some improvements . Easy access to beach with stairways although sun-beds were only available pool side. The beach is very clean with white sand and not crowded. Reception is very helpful . Restaurant and bar is located poolside they have reasonable prices and a great view. There are lots of stairs in the hotel so be mindful of it. Motorbike rental is just outside the hotel with good prices and nice person in charge. We paid around 50$ per night and value for money is great in my opinion Would come back again

The only downside was that there were some mosquitoes in the room specially in the night which is not that surprising considering the location and weather. room size was a bit small

We really enjoyed our stay in High Life Bungalow. Great value place, true gem. Beautiful view from own terrace and sea breeze that keeps mosquitos away. Pool was great and beach lovely. Stuff was very friendly and helpful. There are nice local places to eat, as well as the fancier restaurants with amazing views. Area is a bit cheaper to eat out comparing to Haad Rin for example. On disadventage side -lots and lots of stairs to go around facilities. Not for people with restricted movibility.

The bed was rather hard, the furnitures had seen better days ;)

The little house in the jungle was very nice and spacious, the restaurant and the pool a beautiful view. The beach below has many activities and the sunset is beautiful.

- One of the nicest staff teams i saw in Southeast Asia. The restaurant/bar staff, housekeeping, the bikes guy and especially the girl at the reception, everyone was nice and professional. - The pool has an amazing view of Haad Yaao and great for sunset and chilling. Also great sea view from the bungalows - Short distance from lots of interesting things in the western coast of the island. Also a great cafe very close with an incredible view

- Location required a bike everywhere. Cant really walk anywhere due to the hilly area . Also the beach access requires walking in the water to get to the beach - Little beds or seating available at the pool. Also sometimes people who are not staying are allowed and taking space (during the weekend expect also families with kids) - Restaurant is good but a pricey doesn’t have too many options.
