The stay was good overall. The location is just in the center, very convenient, close to key attractions and amenities, making it a great base for exploring. The property was clean and well-maintained, which added to the comfort of the stay. Additionally, it offered good value for money, providing all the essentials for a pleasant visit.

The breakfast was quite basic, consisting of milk, cereals, one type of jam, some other small items, and bread, which wasn’t fresh. Instant coffee and tea were available, but options were limited. Also, guests are expected to clean their own plates after eating, which is good to know in advance. While it’s sufficient for a quick bite, don’t expect much from the breakfast offering. In addition, the wifi was not working in my room (108). I had to sit in one of the chair closer to the reception in order to connect to wifi.

This is obviously budget accommodation: after all I paid 200 zloty/€46.42 for two nights for a private room with breakfast in the main square of Katowice! My room was small but fine. Bathrooms/showers are in the corridor and kept spotlessly clean by staff. Reception is 24 hour. Guests help themselves to buffet breakfast which is left out 06:00-10:00 and consists of three different cereals and bread (toasted if you want) with five different spreads, cool water, tea and coffee. After 10:00 the cool water, tea and coffee are still there free for guests. In fact guests can prepare their own meals in the kitchen if they want.

The only mini-problem was that my room was right next to the breakfast/kitchen area, so was noisy in the early morning.

Located in the very heart of the city, railway station and event centre Spodek only 10 minutes on foot. Tram stop just some steps apart. Well renovated facilities, everything clean. Comfortable beds, correctly equipped kitchen, wifi working all right. My room was very quiet and had even an own bathroom. Friendly staff. Free coffee/tee available in the rooms and in the kitchens either.

What they call "breakfast" is only toast, jam and cereals. (Even if they deny meat, why no vegetables and fruits?!) Breakfast hall is too small, therefore crowded. Accessible only through many stairs, for some rooms it's a really labyrinth.

The location is very central and the 24h desk is ideal for a late arrival

There were rumours of a breakfast but in actual fact it is a few tired pieces of bread with some cereal. Not the stuff of legends but considering the price.... The lack of curtains, beyond a see through drape is very disappointing especially as there is a building less than 5 m away opposite

The facilities of the room were as I expected. Hostel is situated at the very center of the city. Bar street starts in 300 meters)) I liked bed very much and slept well!

Breakfast was poor, I am not sure it can be called as continental one. Toasts with jam or home made cheese, tea, coffee.

Perfectly located this place had everything I needed. And the price was really good. Breakfast was a bit strange as there were nobody in the kitchen, some food (probably the cheapest possible), but I was happy with cereals. Will definitely come back but may be next time will book a room with private bathroom.

Towels were not provided but I had my own.

Staff were very friendly, whatever we asked they did like giving a towel, adding an extra guest etc. The reception is open 24 h, breakfast is 6 to 10 am and there are fresh toasts with white cheese, chocolate cream, jam, paprykarz, butter, cereal, muesli, milk, instant coffee, black tea. You have to wash your dishes. Bed mattresses comfortable, room clean. 2 bathrooms on our floor. Ceiling an in a room. There was a gentleman safe guarding the door at night when we came and asked which room we are from, we felt safe. Breakfast is free of charge.

It is noisy outside, especially the trams but also nightlife.

The location of the hostel couldn't be better - on the main square, slightly more than five minutes' walk from the station (there is a tram stop directly outside too). Everything was clean and there were three bathrooms (between 10 rooms) on my floor, so no issues with queueing. Tea and coffee are available in the kitchen at all times and a simple buffet breakfast (cereals, breads and spreads) is included.

There was no mattress protector on the bed, which also wasn't particularly comfortable. The wi-fi was unpredictable and would disconnect regularly (it wasn't great when connected!). Check-out time is 10am.

The location was just perfect. Very nice and helpful staff. Decent breakfast including coffee,tea,milk,bread,chocolate cream,pate,jam, butter and corn flakes included which for such price of room was a surprise to me! Clean beds. Fan in the rooms.

The building doesnt have an elevator. Recently there is a noisy constuction work right beside the hostel hopefully they finish the job fast!

The hostel is in the very center of the city (take into account that you can reach it only by train, taxi will not get here). It's quite cozy. I have rented separate room with bathroom. The bed I comfortable. It's clean here.

The sound insulation is low. However, if your neighbors are quiet, everything will be OK.
