A nice looking and very well upkept guest house, near the city center (under 15 mins walk) It is also nice the house has a back yard offering parking with easy access from a one way street cornering from the main A 82 road. Amenities are great and everything is up to spec.
All is well and good about this very nice and upkept house, but its wooden floors are very noisy and at night, during quiet hours, you can hear every step of any neighbour. Even the floor heating induces some noise from the thermal expansion of the wooden boards.

We only saw the staff on arrival day but the welcome was so lovely and friendly. They made it very clear they were there if we needed them...which we didn't. They had plastic cups, cutlery, plates, bug spray, and ear plugs in the reception, which was a lovely touch. We stayed in the family room on the top floor, and it was great! Two double beds and a large bathroom with shower. They also provided fans and had a ceiling fan too. The location was fantastic and literally over the road from the train station where we had booked to go on the Jacobite!!! Highly recommend!
The only negative if have to say one is the location is on a busy road, which was a little noisy at times if the window was open at night. This was not enough to stop me wanting to return

The location was great, close the High Street for restaurants and the train station for the Jacobite Express. Our room was large and spacious and the bed was really comfortable. We were made to feel very welcome right from the start.
This would not be a problem most of the time, but we arrived during a heat wave where it was 30C during the day. We were in the top floor with only a window set into the roof. If it was left open, the light would come streaming in from 4.15am so it needed to be shut. It was extremely hot at night despite there being a ceiling fan.

Superb guest house. Rooms were very clean; decorated and appointed to a very high standard. The location was perfect - a short walk from the town centre. Off-road parking on site was very welcome after a long drive. We received a very warm welcome and would definitely recommend this guest house.
There was quite a bit of noise from the room above, mainly from the flushing of toilets and running of showers. There was also a lot of 'clicking' from the ceiling. I guess because of the beams expanding/contracting with the heating. We didn't sleep well because of this but it wouldn't stop us from staying again - we'd just pack ear plugs :)

One of the cheaper last minute options close to town centre (5 min walk to high street). Easy check in, very clean, spacious bathroom, smart TV and comfy bed. Appreciated the oat milk avaliable with the teas and coffees in the room. Plenty parking at the back of the property.
On busy road into town so traffic noise was quite loud as we were at the front of the house. We had to keep windows open as it was very warm. Maybe more noticeable for us as we had been camping the previous 2 nights. There was a fan in the room though.

Easy walk from the train station, near to all amenities. Lovely welcome, very comfortable stay. Would recommend although on the pricier end.
No breakfast although that wasn’t an issue for us, plenty of eateries in town. We had a room at the front which is on a very busy road. We had very warm weather during our visit but couldn’t open the windows at night due to the road noise. Earplugs were provided and there was a ceiling fan so survived!!! Would still recommend though.

The whole place is spotless. A lot of attention is paid to the details. It's located less then 10 mins walk from the towns main street. The bedroom was big, as was the bathroom. The bed clothes were changed every day, unless you asked them not to. The shower was powerful. There was a nice big TV with free to air channels for the rainy days. The host was welcoming and helpful. WIFI was good. There was a tiny fridge in the room which is always handy. All in all, a lovely comfortable room.
Despite the guesthouse being a pretty new construction. There is almost no soundproofing between the rooms and the outside. If you are on the second floor, like I was. You can hear footsteps above you, conversations beside you and snoring at night. Plus road traffic if you are at the front. There are signs asking for no noise to be made between 11pm and 8am. Which to be fair on my stay, people were. But you can't stop snoring. So if you are a light sleeper, another place might suit you better. Or wear ear plugs. It's a shame, as in every other way, this is an superb place to stay.

Great location a short walk from the old town where all the restaurants are. Close to the lake, and easy to access grocery store for any snack needs. Plenty parking available behind the building. Staff was very helpful and were able to guide us to facilities we needed.
Wished there was a washer / dryer on premise. Since we were visiting UK for a longer vacation, we could have benefitted from that. There was a Washer / dryer about 7 minutes walk from the inn, however, having one on premise would have helped.

Spacious ground floor modern laid out room in an older building with a great ensuite with n main road into Fort William. Tea and Coffee making essentials including sachets of Oat Milk if desired. A communal cart in the main foyer had wine glasses, larger drinking glasses, replenishment for tea/coffee making and wooden disposal knives, forks and spoons. If you are wanting to take Jacobite train literally 320 steps to platform. Also walking distance to the High Street with so many restaurants and breakfast cafes ( including one at the railway station). An Tesco Express also nearby. Off main road carpark with heaps of spaces.
The walls, ceiling and main door to the room paper thin as you could hear neighbours talking, snoring walking around.

Location was brilliant for our needs, very close to the train station. Brandy welcomed us when we arrived, and she was really friendly and helpful. The tips for our sightseeing day were appreciated, though in fact we had time to walk under the Glenfinnan Viaduct and up the other side, to have the best view of the Jacobite crossing it. We took Brandy's recommendation to take the coastal route (B8008) to Mallaig, though, and that was a really good tip. The room was a decent size and comfortable if a little warm, but opening windows a bit and/or using the fan provided sorted that. There's a good smart TV with buttons for Amazon Prime and Netflix as well. Tghe bathroom is a good size, with a powerful shower and good towels.
The mattress was a little soft for our taste, but that's a matter of personal preference, not a criticism. Be aware this is room only, no breakfast is provided - again, not a criticism, this was perfectly clear when we booked.
