Benni who is operating the property has been extremely helpful. She’s always there to greet you with a smile went out of the way to be helpful to a non-Italian speaking traveler. Whether calling for a taxi, making local recommendations or setting appointments with local establishments. She runs the place with grace and commitment and is a star. The property itself has a period setting with high ceilings, nice chandeliers, tall windows and drapes and has been very tastefully done. Her nespresso coffee selection is top class and u have the machines in the breakfast lounge as well as the room. This is really the best experience you can get if you’re staying in Modena and I cannot praise the property and service enough!

Benedetta went above and beyond to make our stay incredible. The hotel and the room were gorgeous. We were supplied with free water, pop, shampoo, body wash, cream, and slippers. We had to leave early for a couple tours but Benedetta made us a goodie bag so we could still have breakfast. She called a cab for us and let us checkout and leave our bags to pick up after we were done. I could not have asked for anything more. I would never want to stay anywhere else in Modena!

There is nothing that I didn’t like.

Salotto delle Arti is a fabulous boutique hotel right in the center of old Modena. It felt like we were in a palace. We stayed in the Cacchia room. It was a wonderful stay starting with the very clear and exact instructions on how to complete our self check-in as well as a parking permit which one needs to have displayed. Benedetta the hotel owner is just delightful. She is so friendly and helpful. She gave us greet recommendations on where to eat as well as places to visit. I would definitely stay at Salotto delle Arti again.

Everything was absolutely perfect! I don’t want to sound negative. My only suggestion is that while the breakfast was ample. It consisted mainly of different cakes and sweet pastries as well as fresh fruit and yogurt. It would have been nice if there was a toaster or some cheese as not everyone enjoys eating sweet food in the morning.

Beautiful boutique accommodation. Rooms tastefully decorated and generous in size. The breakfast provided in the lounge area was "Italian style" of pastries, cakes, fruits, cereals, yoghurts, juices, coffee and teas. The staff were very personable and friendly and provided alot of information on the area and provided restaurant recommendations which were excellent. The complimentary water and soft drinks in the in room minibar were a lovely touch and appreciated.

The property is exceptionally beautiful with very thought-through interior, the living room (or a shared dining space for breakfast) truly is an art gallery. There is a breakfast in the morning and the dining space is available for the guests thought the day with some small snack and beverages. Our room was spotlessly clean and beautiful, it had everything we need. The bathroom amenities are from Luara Biagiotti and smell amazing. The location is very convenient, it's 1 min walk from Osteria Francescana and is in the heart of Modena. Benedetta is an amazing host and one of the nicest people we met during our stay in Italy. She was happy to help us with anything: she gave us plenty of recommendation on various places to visit in Modena, gave us a steamer for clothes, kept our bags for storage after the check out, helped us ordering a taxi. Benedetta also told us to contact her even during the night if we need anything. We will surely stay here again on our next visit to Modena.

Benedetta was a wonderful host. She helped my group find fun things to do around the Modena city center and was always willing to help us out. We have a marvelous trip. Beautiful rooms and even more beautiful bathrooms. This is like a hotel inside an apartment of a Palazzo, with a few rooms. It's so special and intimate. The rooms are replete with antique decoration and incredibly high ceilings with real frescos. I would highly recommend to travellers that want to travel back in time. We were a 15 minute walk from the train station, and maybe 5-6 minutes from the Duomo.

This hotel is beautiful in every regard. The interior aesthetics are perfectly appointed - it’s so beautiful. The owner has high standards, great sense of design and many interesting art pieces. The owner is also the receptionist and host and is friendly, helpful & accommodating. The breakfast dining room is comfortable and gorgeous as well as an outstanding buffet is outstanding.

How beautiful the hotel is, especially the breakfast room. How details are all thought of. That you make you a cappuccino. We also requested mending kit and and iron which weren’t a problem at all. They provided a drink at night if you liked as well as literature and energy packs so you don’t get dehydrated. What a great idea for travellers!

The room was beautiful -a work of art. It was light and comforting. I liked the fact that there were chairs in the room to sit on and read. The water, tea and cafe available in the room were great pick ups after a long day of walking. Benedetta was extremely helpful. The tourist map and traditional Modena vinegar tasting was fun and I learned a lot about the process.

Benedetta and team were superb in taking care of our needs. From the time we arrived in Modena to helping us with a parking permit and showing us a place to park to helping us with our luggage and giving us tips on places to eat and visit, she was superb in her attention to detail. The rooms are designed very well and the common area is well stocked with aperitifs and snacks though the day. The breakfast in the morning is ample with pastries, fruit and coffee. Overall great place to stay at the center of Modena in walking distance to all the sights.
