Great sized apartment, and lovely staff. Great access to public transport

Furnisher a bit tired, and poor interior lighting.

We loved our stay here. It felt like a home away from home, and we were sad to leave our unit. We were greeted by friendly staff and helpful written instructions, and had been texted us to let us know our room was ready earlier than we expected. We stayed in a 2bed 2bath apartment - a welcoming vibe, clean, comfy beds, fully equipped to make staying long (or short) term easy including full wash/dryer facilities in room. There was even a vacuum which we found handy having x2 kids with us. There was good WiFi coverage, a great view from our second floor room, heated pool (the kids loved the bubbles in the spa), and the kids loved having a park/fish and chip shop just across the road. We'd come "home" to little notes under our door to remind of mid week cleans or check out instructions etc, which we foundearly thoughtful and helpful. We would definitely stay again.

Honestly - nothing. The residence is "older" but felt clean and well maintained. I guess the only complaint would be no elevator/lift access so arriving/leaving with luggage (or groceries) could be a struggle; however this is made very clear in the booking stage so we knew what we were going into.

Self catering apartment was well equipped. Everything we needed for our three week stay. Washing machine, dryer, dishwasher , hair dryer, iron and ironing board. Fridge freezer, toaster, microwave , plenty of pots, pans, dishes , air conditioning and fan in bedroom. Lots of storage and coat hangers. Balcony with clothes maiden, table and chairs. Fantastic pool area, beautiful surroundings, BBQ area, Regular linen and towel changes. Reception staff are fabulous, happy , helpful, lovely, made us feel part of the sandcastles family. We are sad to leave them.

Absolutely nothing

Nice place to stay. Staff very friendly and helpful. Property is a bit older but good value for money when staying on the Gold Coast . Pool is fabulous. We stayed on the third floor, stairs no lifts as advertised. Good under ground parking . Property was very clean and tidy . Good location, nice beach only a few minutes walk away Apartments are great for a family, upstairs master plus bathroom, plus outdoor patio, with own outdoor spa. downstairs two bedrooms plus bathroom and outdoor patio.Washer and dryer, great kitchen with everything you need to cook your own meals . Dishwasher. Aircon was also great plus fans in bedrooms made it very comfortable. Own outside spa was also great for cooling off Only advice would be to contact the property directly to ask specifics about room views as booking.com photos are (as the property says) different from what you may think you have booked . Our view from the top room had views of the water but the bottom floor and outdoor patio looked out over the backyard of nearby houses . So was different from the photos booking.com sent us . The property is happy for people to contact them directly to discuss this before you arrive.

It was a great place to stay. It has everything you need, kitchen & washing machine & dryer & a spa. We all enjoyed the pool & spa & lovely views of the water. We met some lovely people who live there & my kids had a great playing with their son. The staff were friendly & helpful we will definitely stay again. My son left his wallet behind without even realising. We were so thankful for the honesty of the staff that rang to let us know. 😁

My youngest son' s bed kept moving, so he slept on the couch. He said he had a great sleep on the couch.

Great location and friendly staff. The pool and spa are lovely. Apartment was spacious.

The apartment is dated and needs a really good clean (showers had mould and under the beds were filthy) a few other minor issues like curtains didn't close properly, so didn't block out light, it was light at what felt like 3am (used to daylight savings), broken dining room chair. Missing remote for one of the fans but staff had communicated this, and we had an issue with a blocked air con leaking water everywhere but again, staff were great about getting this fixed.

The location of this property is fantastic and the view from our 3 bedroom apartment was amazing. The apartment was big with two wonderful balconies and a really nice romantic upstairs bedroom with a spa bath on the balcony. The beds were super comfortable and so were the pillows. The apartment had everything we needed. The best part was the management. Honestly, I have never experienced such friendly and accommodating hosts. Absolute top ratings for that. The swimming pool is great with a lovely sitting and bbq area and just a short walk to the swimming beach and fantastic restaurants and bars. Thank you so much for a wonderful holiday.

The apartment could be a bit cleaner but all the other great aspects of this property far outweigh this.

Sandcastles is situated in Labrador,close to a lagoon across the road, busses are at your door step! The Saltwater pool is the highlight, you need this in summer as the heat can be intense! We stayed in a deluxe 2brm apartment, it had good cooking facilities, beds were comfortable, it was clean,I suggest asking for an apartment away from the road, the staff are friendly & helpful, I highly recommend staying here, I'll be back🙂

There wasn't much not to like, but the only thing I can add is there could of been a small non stick fry pan and the pots in our room could use an upgrade, everything else was great.

The pool was beautiful and quite large. The room had everything we needed and the beds were very comfortable. Just across the road from the water and a short walk to restaurants.

The property is in need of a bit of tlc. The furniture and decor need updating and the balcony needs a good clean. It is on a busy road so a lot of traffic noise.

The location was fantastic, facilities are awesome has a great pool, bbq area, well equipped kitchen in your unit, big tv, aircond, washing machine, dishwasher, hairdryers. No complaints.

The mixer taps in the ensuite were leaking in both the vanity and the shower. This lead to mold in the shower once we let the reception know they were most apologetic and were getting straight on to it
