Fantastic location and I love the low-key but stylish decor. It was clean and the beds were comfortable and linens good. The view was beautiful and my husband and I loved our room. It’s absolutely my favorite location right on mirror Lake and we love the waterfront. We didn’t use the pool, but it’s nice to have a pool right by the lake. could not be a better location for accessing of the restaurants and shops in Lake Placid, but still felt relaxing and peaceful.

I wish they would replace the carpet and the fixtures in the bathroom were child height, but both of these things are not a big deal. The carpet was clean, I just hate carpet, and the low sink and toilet didn’t affect my stay in any way. it is a really nice hotel with a great vibe.

Excellently situated and very walkable. Great common area for kids. A lot of usable water features (pools, hot tub), games. Great coffee in the morning.

I wish there was an option for a suite room, when guests want to just hang in their rooms. It’s kind of tough when you have small children and only one room. A continental breakfast would be awesome too.

The Lake House is in the perfect location. Close to town and everything it has to offer. Everything was within a shot walk. The view was probably the best thing. You are able to view the lake, mountains and from the room I had, all the way down Main Street. The staff was very welcoming and willing to answer any questions you may have.

The only thing that was less than stellar was that the bathrooms were way too small. This is an area where this facility could use some improvements. The check in could be a little confusing as you check in at High Peaks Resort. If you are not familiar with the area you may not know that.

Close to all the shops and restaurants on Main St. Beautiful view of the mountains and Mirror Lake from the outside seating attached to the room.

A microwave would be nice for early morning hikers. But that is my only complaint so I can't say it's bad at all.

Overall the place is amazing. Incredible view and the location is perfect.

We didn't like the fact there wasn't a place for check-in in the building. After walking around for while and calling the number on the reservation they told me I had to go across the street to make the check-in in the other Resort. I would recommend in case like this at least make a note and leave on the main lobby informing where guests should go.

The amenities were great-coffee in the morning, paddle boat access. One of the staff members texted me after I checked in to see if I needed anything, which I appreciated.

After taxes and fees, a two night stay ended up reaching over $600, which was a lot of money. I understand it’s on the lake, has a pool, etc, but it was just a little steep.

We really loved the room's interior design, decoration, and all wooden furniture. The lake view is amazingly beautiful, and the location is really close to all the shops and restaurants, which is very convenient.

The only thing we are a little disappointed with is the ceiling of our bathroom is mild leaking... Other than that, everything met and exceeded our expectations.

The location was wonderful.

There was a lacrosse tournament going on. Kids were running around everywhere and very loud.

The location is superb, I love the Lake House style, the rooms are very spacious and comfortable, love the outdoor seating, the lobby with the retro vibes. The resort overall is also great, including access to Mirror Lake. Lake House rates were a bit cheaper than in the main resort.

Bathrooms are a bit small.

Beautiful situated at with gorgeous views of Mirror Lake. Located near restaurants and shopping. Each room had a Lavazza coffee machine which was a good perk.

The bar in the lake house was not open and the common area over there was an after thought it seemed.
