Very handy location. Friendly staff. Good room with microwave, fridge and kettle.

The only problem we had was that the heater controls didn't work. There was a remote that did nothing. It was at 19 degrees when we arrived, which was fine, but overnight it went up to 26 degrees and the only thing we could do was turn the radiator off. In the morning it allowed us to manually set it, so we wondered if someone else's remote was controlling our radiator.

They were very accommodating and helping us to get a king size bed into our room for us.

Having a shower or bath tends to get a lot of water on the bathroom floor. When showering with curtain on the inside, it still happened.

Centrally located, everything worked exactly as it should and the staff were friendly and helpful. It was comfortable and maintained the high standards I've come to expect from staying at a Bella Vista and highly recommend.

Excellent to find a motel with a new 11kV EV charging point (book this in advance) so we could charge the car to 100% overnight. Clean, comfortable motel facilities and friendly staff. Convenient location not far from the centre

No real downsides except the usual slightly too thin walls found in most NZ hotels and motels.

For me nothing. Just to know, it is located next to the NZ highway 1, traffic is there but didn't bother me the whole night. I slept like a stone.

A little way from town for dinner etc. But handy to the swimming pool. The bed was a bit hard for me but some might like that.

Everything exceeded our expectations at the Bella Vista. The room was small but contained everything needed for our overnight stay however we could happily have stayed longer. Parking was well organised with on street parking available if needed. Staff were excellent and very informative, directing us to several restaurants. Most importantly we found the accommodation extremely clean. Overall an excellent stay.

The accommodation provided was spacious, clean and comfortable. The motel was about 10/15 minute walk from the main shopping centre although there were grocery store option within 5 minutes. The motel was in a nice area and it was a pleasant walk into town or to Queens Park ( a must view in Invercargill). All of the staff I encountered were very friendly and helpful. Thanks for a lovely visit.

Comfortable bed with a large, clean bathroom. The location is what I would consider at the edge of walkable distance to the center of town—no real complaints for anyone needing a short stay in Invercargill. Close enough to everything you need in a pinch, like supermarkets. TV, microwave, a mini-fridge, and a large closet round out a well-supplied room to stay in.

The staff was very helpful and helped us to get the 3rd room, which was canceled by the hotel but confirmed by booking.com. The location is near the park, Burger King and Woolworth. Parking is enough for all guests. Our room is an accessible room.
