We had a one bedroom unit and it was very well equipped. The kitchen had a large counter plus an additional Island unit that served as a breakfast bar. The lounge area was very comfortable and included a large TV. The bathroom was very clean and also has a heater. It was pretty cold over the time we stayed so this is an important feature. This unit had two heat pumps that will be ideal for temperature control summer and winter. The whole unit was very clean.

Very happy with the spacious rooms for a family. The room has been well loved over the years but the linen was fresh, the room was very clean and well presented with all the necessities for a comfortable stay. The chocolate on arrival was a sweet touch. The shower was … powerful …. with very strong water pressure. People with fragile skin may need a shield… or alternatively take a bath. Homestead Villa is in a good location and central to shops, fuel and restaurants. If you plan to wash, the machine is small, so might not suit more than a light load. Other than this, the accommodation had everything we needed for a family of four. Thank you for the lovely stay.

I recently stayed at Homestead Villa Motel in Invercargill and had a fantastic experience. The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped, with a full kitchen and dining area, making it feel like a home away from home. The staff were welcoming and attentive, always happy to assist with any requests. The 50” Smart TV with Chromecast was a great touch, perfect for unwinding after a long day. The motel is in a quiet and convenient location, close to local attractions and dining options. The only minor downside was some occasional noise from nearby areas, but it didn’t impact my overall stay. I would highly recommend Homestead Villa Motel to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-appointed place to stay in Invercargill. I’ll definitely be returning on my next visit!

Right from the minute we arrived we were impressed! We'd arrived earlier than predicted and had two very tired children with us and although our room wasn't ready yet (we were two hours early), they were super friendly and allowed us to keep our bags there and notified us when our room was ready, allowing us to take the short 10 minute walk into Queens Park and have the most yummiest coffees at the Cheeky Lhama Cafe and play at the park. When we arrived back, happy from being most impressed with Queens Park, but very exhausted nonetheless, the room exceeded expectations - spacious for two young and busy boys, very clean, and everything you could want. We've stayed in highly starred places before, but this was definitely one of our top five. We always came back to a clean room, beds made up and kitchen topped up and ready to go. Super happy with this place and would definitely stay again :-)

Had what we needed and close to where we were visiting. restaurants handy also.

there was a bit of noise until midnight the first night, I wasn't sure where it come from, sounded like the back of our motel (which was near the reception area), the second night it stopped about 11pm. I checked it out as it was coming from the front, and believe it was from your restaurant/bar across the road. lots of singing and loud voices. but settled earlier this time, so all was okay for sleeping.

Spacious, good amenities, comfy beds and really clean! Loved the tv also in bedroom. Perfect family set up Absolutely would stay again

Didn’t love the charge for the portacot, first time we’ve ever struck that so brought our own. The jets in the spa bath didn’t work but that’s not the end of world. Needs a lock for the inside. Low easy handle. Toddler can open the door and escape. We put a chair infront of the door

Great spot to stay for a couple of nights on our driving tour around NZ. We had a lovely newly refurbished large upstairs unit. There was a complete kitchen but we choose to eat at Buster Crabb which was directly across the road. Invercargill has lots to see, including the fastest Indian motorcycle in the middle of the hardware shop, the huge motor museum, the botanical Gardens and don't forget to drive to Bluff.

The location for us was fantastic. The two-bedroom ground floor option for my elderly parents was ideal. Lovely lounge and size of the unit was appreciated.

Having the shower of the bath was not ideal for elderly who were concerned about falling. Also, the oven did not go when the vent was turned on. We did use the warming draw tho.

This place has the wow factor I have been staying there for years and they just keep getting better. It os obvious they invest back into their property and keep it up to date.

Its very hard to book into at short notice due to its popularity, I stay in lots of different motels throughout New Zealand and this one is right up there with the best if not the best.

Close to everything, clean spacious and very friendly

Perhaps not sound proof as could clearly hear the neighbours walking up the stairs and tripping in to the walls and the pub next door with a band on until 12am which is understandably not the motels fault but otherwise it was nice and we would still come back for sure .
