Very happy with the spacious rooms for a family. The room has been well loved over the years but the linen was fresh, the room was very clean and well presented with all the necessities for a comfortable stay. The chocolate on arrival was a sweet touch. The shower was … powerful …. with very strong water pressure. People with fragile skin may need a shield… or alternatively take a bath. Homestead Villa is in a good location and central to shops, fuel and restaurants. If you plan to wash, the machine is small, so might not suit more than a light load. Other than this, the accommodation had everything we needed for a family of four. Thank you for the lovely stay.

I recently stayed at Homestead Villa Motel in Invercargill and had a fantastic experience. The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped, with a full kitchen and dining area, making it feel like a home away from home. The staff were welcoming and attentive, always happy to assist with any requests. The 50” Smart TV with Chromecast was a great touch, perfect for unwinding after a long day. The motel is in a quiet and convenient location, close to local attractions and dining options. The only minor downside was some occasional noise from nearby areas, but it didn’t impact my overall stay. I would highly recommend Homestead Villa Motel to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-appointed place to stay in Invercargill. I’ll definitely be returning on my next visit!

Right from the minute we arrived we were impressed! We'd arrived earlier than predicted and had two very tired children with us and although our room wasn't ready yet (we were two hours early), they were super friendly and allowed us to keep our bags there and notified us when our room was ready, allowing us to take the short 10 minute walk into Queens Park and have the most yummiest coffees at the Cheeky Lhama Cafe and play at the park. When we arrived back, happy from being most impressed with Queens Park, but very exhausted nonetheless, the room exceeded expectations - spacious for two young and busy boys, very clean, and everything you could want. We've stayed in highly starred places before, but this was definitely one of our top five. We always came back to a clean room, beds made up and kitchen topped up and ready to go. Super happy with this place and would definitely stay again :-)

there was a bit of noise until midnight the first night, I wasn't sure where it come from, sounded like the back of our motel (which was near the reception area), the second night it stopped about 11pm. I checked it out as it was coming from the front, and believe it was from your restaurant/bar across the road. lots of singing and loud voices. but settled earlier this time, so all was okay for sleeping.

Great spot to stay for a couple of nights on our driving tour around NZ. We had a lovely newly refurbished large upstairs unit. There was a complete kitchen but we choose to eat at Buster Crabb which was directly across the road. Invercargill has lots to see, including the fastest Indian motorcycle in the middle of the hardware shop, the huge motor museum, the botanical Gardens and don't forget to drive to Bluff.

Lovely place to stay living room kitchen and bedroom really lovely and really spacious. Bed was super comfortable, very tidy and clean. Good quality bedding and towels and nice touch with the kitkat to enjoy our break. Overall fab place to stay

The spa was having issues working second night and the shower over spa bath not that accessible. Multi shower bath dial hard to operate. Fan doesn't remove the condensation so very damp and humid causing mould the bathroom could do with a tidy up . The spa was nice when working and was definitely clean and tidy .

Courteous staff let us know when room was ready for check-in. Gorgeous continental breakfast setup with loads of options to choose from, delivery thereof the night before on beautiful trays. There is also a very good looking restaurant straight across the street from them but we didn't eat there so can't review. Handy but quiet location. Had enormous TV hanging on wall too.

Squeaky bathroom and toilet doors. Poor curtaining over entrance door, hard to secure. No power point on one side of bed, so no bedside lamp for reading on that side.

Everything is perfect. Stuffs are nice. I arrived later than planned and lady in reception organised my late check-in. The room is enormous large than I imagine, clean and in good condition, living room is cosy with sofa, kitchen is well equipped with pans, knives and scissors, bedroom is big and the bed is comfortable. Bathroom is also large with bathtub, toilette is separed. I am lucky to have a room face to the lovely backyard garden, very relaxing.

We appreciated the space of the unit; we didn't feel cramped even though the sofa bed remained down throughout our stay. We appreciated being so close to the centre of the city. We appreciated the warmth of the staff and the cleanliness of the unit.

My friend and I are both approaching 80 and with increasing age comes growing physical limitations. We found the shower very difficult to use - climbing over the bath is something of a risk for us. My friend has had both hips replaced so the stairs were a challenge. I had the bedroom and didn't find the traffic noisy. My friend who was sleeping in the main room did. perhaps time to buy some new bedding for the sofa bed?

What a great room...it was upstairs but it was comfortable and clean and huge! We could have moved in and stayed a week. Heaters in every room....we had a suite with bedroom and 2 lounges and a kitchen. Very handy with Buster Crabb across the road one way and the Homestead Tavern acriss from the entry.
