Washer/Dryer Access were a Bonus.

▪︎ It was always difficult finding the motel most of the time due to the sign being blocked by over grown bushes. ▪︎ When relaxing and watching TV at night it was a bit boring as there was no netflix available to watch movies.

The unit was spacious and clean but has not been redecorated since the 1970's. It could do with an update.

I have a cochlea implant and accidentally left the battery charger behind. When we phoned they said that it was not there. We phoned again and were told again that it was not there, although we knew that it must be. When we were in Christchurch we purchased new equipment costing $530. An hour later the Bavarian phoned and said that my equipment was there, so we asked our daughter to pick it up from them. Next day when she went to do so the man on duty denied all knowledge of it and shouted abuse at her. I sent an email of complaint and they have sent my equipment to me and apologised to our daughter. They need to improve communication between staff and NEVER shout abuse at people.

I liked the Space - this was a full unit with separate rooms for lounge/kitchen, large bedroom, shower/toilet. Recently renovated bathroom, new carpet, fabulously soft bed and selection of pillow types, good quality linen and fluffy towels, fresh milk in the fridge, everything spotlessly clean. Location on the north side of town is 2 minutes from good restaurants aand shops in the centre of Invercargill. The rooms were warm, comfortable and clean. The manager and staff were very pleasant and had prepared the room in advance = with the beds made up like a first class hotel. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

Previous reviewers felt being on the main road was noisy. True outside but once the doors and windows are closed there was no sound to disturb my peace over 3 nights. Although not brand new, the buildings and grounds are well maintained.

The motel was easy to find, 15min walk down the road from woolworths and a short drive to town. Although it's on the main road, it was quiet. Our room was spacious, clean and cosy. We loved that there were two TVs. One in the main bedroom and one in the lounge. The hosts were lovely and very accommodating..

It did get a little cold and we couldn't find switches in the main bedroom aside for the one for the TV which was mounted high on the wall so we couldn't use the heaters or the electric blanket but that was fine. We had extra blankets. All in all - I would still stay here again. Beautiful place. Lovely people.

The bed was extremely comfortable, the staff were helpful and it was very clean. Nice to have a bath in the room and plenty of heaters but didn't need them as much as I would have expected. Also found the management weren't in our space which was nice

For an executive 1 bedroom apartment with a Kitchenette, I was disappointed that there wasn't any sort of cook top or oven. We had brought steak with us and had nothing to cook it on (microwave steak isn't the best)

The sheets were amazing nd the bed was probably one of the best I have ever slept on in even fancy hotels. This place was simple but so clean and so comfortable. Loads of space kitchen was full of everything you need

Its centrally located on the main road - a lot of traffic! Every now and then you could feel when a large heavy truck rolled by but despite this the sound was very minimal in our unit

I liked this place as it was nice and big. The beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was clean. A little away from city center but had lots of shops close by. the WIFI worked well. You could park your car right out front of your room. Good value for your money.

This property met our needs without all the bells and whistles. It is not flashy, but was well presented, clean, tidy, had a very comfortable bed, heating and well positioned, with car parking outside the unit. Even though it was close to a main road, the unit was not noisy. A very friendly receptionist greeted us upon our arrival. Value for money.

Maybe an air fryer to cook on cold nights, instead of going out.

My very first time on the South Island, and I loved every minute of it. This motel was very clean and spacious. The staff are amazingly helpful. I loved my stay here I couldn't have picked a better place.

Room 15 can only say that it had no closet space.

Superb value, comfy and very large room. Good spot just outside Invercargill town centre. The lady who served us was very polite and welcoming. If you happen to be in a wheelchair the room's toilet and shower seemed to be very friendly for that.

Car park can be a little tricky when it's busy, rooms are showing their age a bit.
