Reception on arrival was very friendly, and the reception area contained information pertaining to many activities and attractions. A great guest compendium was also supplied in the room. Room was of a studio type, which was spacious and very well laid out, Contained a sofa, table, and chairs, as well as a very comfortable bed. It had also been pre-heated by the receptionist prior to our arrival. Exceptional service. It also had a wonderful kitchenette which contained a microwave. Ensuite bathroom was a marvel itself. It is divided into three areas, with a toilet at one end, a shower at the other and a hand basin in between. The shower had exceptional pressure and heat. The room was noticeably quiet, despite the Motel being located on the main road for those travelling into Invercargill from the North. Also, it is an excellent location for those continuing their journey either to Central Otago or to the Airport. Also very handily located for the Invercargill Shopping Centre. Located only a five-minute car journey from the centre of the township, where there is a plentiful range of options for meals. Excellent Wi-Fi.

Our room was well set up with a kitchen including a cooktop and needed utensils. There was also a full dining table, 2 comfy armchairs, a Queen bed and a single bed. The bathroom was spacious and had a partly petitioned off toilet one end and the shower (no bath) the other. A high ceiling in the unit gave it a feeling of space and despite all the furniture it didn't seem cramped at all. Interestingly this property is one owned by and paying back to the community which is why Invercargill seems to have incredible facilities for such a small town. If only more places had people with the foresight to establish such a thing in the 1930s. But the motel isn't that old - probably 1980s?

There was nothing to dislike.

An Up Stairs Down Stairs Affair, which suited our needs perfectly, a great setup, with bathroom, backing onto and behind the Kitchen/Dining area, with lounge and TV area nearby. separate sleeping area upstairs only. Once again handy to all our activities we encountered on our stay, unfortunate the weather was at its Best for Invercargill, WET, :)

Watch having windows open as the wind can pickup and blow the inside out if the dorrs are all open from front to back.

Room was a bit dated but they are in the process of renovating property. Heating in room was great as it was a bit chilly down in Invercargill during our stay. Ideal stay for a small family, perhaps with younger children. Queen bed and single upstairs and single downstairs. Staff very welcoming and friendly and willing to help. Great location to City centre, Queens Park and easy drive to Bluff and other locations. Good value for money, we would definitely stay there again.

Our room was fantastic! It was a huge room with an upstairs area where the beds were. There was a kitchen area with evrything you need. The bathroom and shower room were large too. The wifi was fast enough to stream programs from home with. The whole place was really clean. An added bonus that we didn't know about was a laundry room where we managed to wash and dry all our clothes. The staff were all lovely and friendly. The hotel is situated not too far from the centre, probably within walking distance, though we drove.

One down side of having a bedroom upstairs is going down in the middle of the night to the toilet! It was worth it though!!

Great location and clean rooms! the staff were amazing and recommended some family friendly activities for us to do with our kids. The 2 bedroom apartment we stayed in had everything we needed and was very spacious

We loved everything I would just recommend bringing your own pillow if you like medium pillows ☺️ the pillows we had in our rooms were either flat or hard no in between.

This motel is definitely a 10 out of 10. Everything you could need for your stay was here, even a huge double shower, fabulous big bedroom upstairs, (with good quality linens and lovely thick fluffy white towels, not skinny hard ones) a very good kitchen area including a nespresso coffee machine (love that). Thank you, I wish I could have stayed longer as highly recommend this motel. JUST STUNNING!

Requested room wasn't available so was upgraded to a family room. Very spacious 2 bedroom unit.with kitchen and large living area. Much bigger than we needed but nice to spreadout. Separate room upstairs with additional beds outside on the mezzanine.

Only 1 bathroom with toilet in the bathroom for a 2 story family unit. Stairs a little narrow to get suitcases up. Heating is radiator style so takes a while to warm the 2 story unit. No key drop for early checkout and no instructions.

We really enjoyed our stay there, It was a newly refurbished apartment which was very comfort and large. We used the time to relax in the evenings after a busy day and eat in each night We also found the staff very helpful and friendly. It was very clean and the location was excellent.
