Fabulous rooms - very welcoming.

I was shocked to find that when I changed my booking from a 2 bedroom apartment to a 1 bedroom apartment that the cost hardly decreased at all. It was suddenly a VERY expensive choice. Also the key / door situation was a little strange. Front door (on the road) was not able to be opened from the outside, with the key cards working on the back door. We nearly locked ourselves out by putting the chain on the back door and then were about to exit from the (self-locking) front door, when I realised that we wouldn't be able to get back in because of the chain! Saved the situation in the nick of time as the front door was closing behind us.

Lovely clean, modern, warm space, perfect for families! Cooking facilities have everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The luxurious beds & underfloor heating makes it very cosy. This is the second time we have stayed here while visiting the area which highlights how much we love this accommodation. The free coffee's from across the road were a nice bonus in the morning :)

The pillows on the bed are too big & soft for me but that is completely personal preference. The beds themselves are luxurious!

Modern and clean. Plenty of space

Breakfast is only provided if you ask for it. Which is ridiculous considering that this is not a cheap place to stay and the your booking includes breakfast. Couldn’t ask at reception as they had closed and gone before 3pm (we got there 10 mins early to find that it was shut). Also you can get a discount on your Transport World tickets but only if you buy them through the accommodation reception. Really annoying.

A beautiful feel good place to stay. From the moment we opened the door it was fabulous. So much to look at. Beautifully decorated and clean. The lolly room was as it said and a delight from the Eskimo lollies on the wall to the luxurious linen bedding. Breakfast was included as well as a little treat bag. The attention to detail is second to none. If staying in Invercargill this is a must. As is Transport World and the newest addition Toot Sweet. Thank you for a memorable stay We highly recommend.

I have stayed in many motels in New Zealand and this is by far the best I’ve ever stayed in . The owner has thought of everything for your comfort, a dishwasher, a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need to cook and prepare simple meals and for the ladies hair straighteners . The whole place was light airy and our theme was toys , every room has a theme . We wished we were staying longer

Our two-bedroom unit was very charming, with two good-sized bedrooms, very comfortable beds and lovely common area. Very modern bathroom, and the kitchen was stocked with basic necessities and even more, which was a lovely attention. Personnel was super warm and welcoming, and provided us with great recommendations of what to do in the area and where to eat. Great hospitality and great amenities.

The property was very comfortable and well maintained. I have never stayed in such a spotlessly clean holiday home. It was meticulously cleaned. Caroline takes great pride in ensuring that the house is cleaned, stocked and very comfortable. I can’t recommend this accommodation highly enough. Thank you Caroline for making our stay so memorable.

There was nothing to dislike.

The lodge was very well equipped and newly furnished. The facilities were excellent. They also offer room service daily if needed. Our stay was very comfortable.

Normally it will be fine if the weather was cool but S we were there during a hot summer, the rooms were a bit hot to sleep on at night as there is only air conditioning in the lounge room.

This place was a much nicer than expected. It was more like a home than a hotel. Would highly recommend especially for families. Super quiet, loads of parking both near our room and on the street. The kitchen and living area were both much larger than I realized. If you are staying in Invercargill this is a fantastic hotel.

The washer/ dryer was one of those combo machines which saves space, but wouldn’t be great if you have a bunch of laundry to do.

The location because we wanted to visit transport world more than once; easy access to the city and surrounds (if you have a car); and, the unit itself was fabulous. Many touches that were about saying welcome as well as extremely modern appliances. Loved the heated bathroom floor. From the fudge treats to juice and yogurt in the fridge, and much more we were made to feel very special.
