This was a huge pleasant surprise. We were looking for just a decent place to veg out after having been traveling continuously for three weeks. Instead we found this pearl. Not only were all facilities that one wants there, but they were just so as one would want them. The bed was simply excellent. There was a desk, a diner table, and a sofa. There was a complete set of kitchenware. There was a bath (bubble bath!) and shower. There was sufficient room for all our toiletries (not very common). There were very good reading lights and bed stands on both sides of the bed. WiFi was excellent. There were enough electricity sockets which were also easy to reach. And finally the room also looked very nice.

Really, really nit-picking. With a small rack for drying clothes it would be perfect.

Rooms were spotless. Bed was really comfy. Sheets fresh, bright & clean with no pilling or stains etc. The Staff were friendly & accommodating. Management were the same, old school, salt of the earth, no pretence, very professional and wonderful to deal with. It's clear they all take pride in what they do.

A 4 slice toaster, if 2 or more people are staying would be brilliant. That way you get to have Brekky at the same time which means, little time is wasted getting out and about to see and do things. It's not a deal breaker that's for sure, I'd just be a bonus.

Friendly staff and lovely clean room. A most comfortable bed and all the comforts of home for pre Christmas celebrations in Invercargill. My second visit to this exceptional motel and I stayed three nights this time. Even though I was on my own this stay I felt safe and able to relax in my unit. Easy access to town. Staff extremely helpful calling me a taxi when required and provided helpful advice regarding local restaurants.. Cleaning staff considerate and courteous. A busy place but quiet and private.

Could not find any faults with my stay this time. Requested a downstairs unit which was accommodated for.

Everything travellers need is all provided. The beds are very comfortable. There is nothing one can complain about. It's flawless. We are frequent travellers but had not experienced such a pleasant stay like one in Shelby. Car space is just right in front of the unit. It's highly and strongly recommended.

Everything was wonderful. We stayed in a very spacious 2 bedroom 2 bath apartment. The kitchen was immaculate, and the living and dining room areas had a ton of space for relaxing. The upstairs bedrooms were wonderful, very comfy with lots of space for storage. The bathroom upstairs had a lot of room, great light, and a spa bath. Check-in was great and friendly. Nice place to hole up when the weather turned bad.

Just a bit of road noise as it's on a main street.

Wonderful new fresh motels. Set up was superb and mirror and lighting in bathroom was the best I have ever found in a motel. Bed was extremely big and comfortable. Set back off the road it was extremely quiet.

Had to park in disability park as carparking was extremely narrow for today's vehicle sizes. There was however a quiet street off to side which would have been a suitable alternative but in our case we did not need to use.

Clean, very comfortable, spacious. Black out curtains. Very solid bathroom door! There was a party at the house next door but I didn’t hear anything when the bathroom door was closed. Walking distance to supermarket.

Could have more hooks and shelves in the bathroom.

I booked a last minute accommodation after my flight got cancelled. I wanted to check in at 11 pm and Issie was absolutely wonderful and generous with her time. She made sure to keep the heater on for us so that we arrive into a nice warm room. The next day she was extremely helpful and made sure to get us into the airport and double check later to see if we our flight went ahead. I highly recommend this motel to anyone who wants to stay in a comfortable place in Invercargill.

Good location and clean, quiet rooms. We found the bed extremely comfortable, great shower and everything else we required was very good. Excellent to wake up and watch the All Blacks game on Sky TV. Friendly hosts who were very accommodating. Ir was no problem moving us to a downstairs unit for easy access. We would stay there again next time we visit Invercargill and recommend to others.

Nothing to complain about. Everything met our requirements and more.

We had to urgently get to Invercargill Hospital due to an accident and couldn't drive back to our accommodation 2 hours away, so I booked this motel from the hospital, and it was the perfect place to stay overnight, the size of the rooms and the beds everything we needed was there and we will definitely book again if in the area We are from North Island
